I'm currently debating whether to watch this drama or not, especially since a lot of people mentioned that the plot was a bit confusing and the ending was the open-ending-type. Can anyone summarize the whole drama in like really simple terms, especially how the ending is? (I'm totally all for spoilers too)
Ahh, this is a total spoiler so *warnings* Hao du for sure!
Ahh, I also saw that scene, but there's definitely also a huge possibility that he's going to recover from that ahaha (the number of almost-die-scenes in every drama sooo)
Ahh, this is a total spoiler so *warnings* Hao du for sure!
Hmm, honestly though, there's a lot of variations on whether Shuyu is a main character or not (it's pretty different for every website), so I would just go with that he is less-of-a-main-character than the other 4!

I believe I read it somewhere that they will be ending up together as part of the drama + the fact that Haodu is also listed as a main character, whereas Shuyu is listed as the supporting character (in a lot of websites other than MDL); however, that isn't to say they will have a happy ending, and the same goes with Azun and Changge. They like each other, but we don't know if they will have a happy ending or not.
*A lot of people have theories that Azun and Changge will have a sad ending; though I personally feel like they will have a more open ending or happy ending, but this is totally according to my personal feeling about how the drama is going --> not confirmed about the sad/happy ending.
Happy ending! They end up together at around episode 21. They break up in episode 27 and make up in episode 30,…
Ahh, me too me too; I honestly really dislike some pointless misunderstanding that could really had been solved if they communicated; which kind of puts it off for a lot of dramas sooo. and yess, we all love the fast forward button :)

Pretty much! The break up in episode 27 was partially caused by her, and she only stopped in like episode 28 because the male lead started figuring out the things she did (and the things she did was related to his work --> she sabotaged his work to get him to rely on her); it wasn't very clear if he figured out that she also caused a lot of misunderstandings between him and the female lead.
happy ending?what epsiode do the couple end up any if so what episode they break up and what episode they get…
Happy ending! They end up together at around episode 21. They break up in episode 27 and make up in episode 30, which is also the last episode. The first 20 episodes is kind of the male chasing the female lead and whatnot. There's also several almost breakups/fights leading up to that major one. And there's definitely an annoying female that tries to ruin everything as per usual (there's someone that likes the female lead but he's doesn't try to sabotage anything; his ending is kind of said - as usual second male leads do)
So for the ones that have seen the whole thing, what's the reason for their break up on ep 27. I've seen some…
For several reasons: 1) Jiang Jing Xuan's (the second female lead) interference 2) Gu Nan Zhou's work and lack of care and understanding 3) when Zhou Jian Qing needed him the most, he was not there 4) Gu Nan Zhou defended Jiang Jing Xuan and thought Zhou Jian Qing was just finding faults and being childish 5) The final trigger: Zhou Jian Qing thought that one of Gu Nan Zhou's reasons for wanting to marry her in the first place is that the female lead's father is a shareholder of the company with 15% in his name, and by marrying her, the male lead would be able to get the 15%, so she thinks he used her + when she wanted to talk to him about it, he wasn't there. So all in all, they broke up
I read someone that commnted that her mom in the comic/show is suppose to be uyghur/turk
Oh my, I apologize if Dilraba Dilmurat's character's (Chang Ge's) background with the uyghur tribe was considered a major spoiler. I originally didn't think her background was as relevant since it wasn't mentioned much in the drama, but if it is a big spoiler, I can definitely mark that part too!
Ahh, yess, overhyped dramas really do either come out quite disappointing (which could be due to high expectations…
Ahh, ever nightt, the first season was honestly pretty good, but then (*spoiler for those who see this comment and have not watched ever night 1*) it ended with a cliffhanger, so I wasn't too attached to it and haven't watched ever night 2 ahaha. but ooo, what was the reason you dropped the drama? (was it the change in actors, etc)
Ahh, ahaha, the braids indeed do look quite nice ahaha. He does have braided hairstyles pretty often in the drama, so if you ever want to watch the drama just for the braids :)
