this is honestly a great drama to watch if you are interested in just getting mad at the characters thooo

Hmm, that's definitely true that xinnan was able to be like that because she is a royal, and I'm totally all for people who are reserved and all in addition to the whole virginity and everything, but the fact that she said no a lot of times when Chu mu tried to kiss her and fu rou pushing him away just struck me kind of weird and uncomfortable watching it. yup, it could have been just joking and according to norms or just herself or just between some couples, but nonetheless, it honestly is just uncomfortable to watch too. and especially with not just chu mu, but with the other guys too, especially prince liang (okay, his case is a whole different issue) and even that zifang guy (who is a bit better since he apologized and everything)

ahaha, omg me too, but it kind of seems unlikely that prince zhou would be dethroned. but I'm totally with you that it honestly seems quite likely that prince liang will die which would honestly be such a relief

Omg, yess, I don't really like seeing pregnant woman dying. ahahaa, must be because of those harem dramas, where either their son/daughter is sent to another country as a 'hostage' and dies, some other women decides to poison/drug/kill the baby, or the drama just needs to have a reason for the mother to be traumatized by her baby's death. and yess, the Crown Princess was a close call though too. as for fu yin, her situation is honestly quite complicated, but why do I feel like she might have a bad ending with Lu Qi because I can't seem to think of a good scenario where both of them are happy with their baby. maybe Lu Qi might reflect on himself; this seems pretty unlikely though, so who knows.

Ahh, watching the episodes raw is definitely quite difficult (and I definitely consider myself very luck to have some understanding of the language), but I perhaps watching it raw also has its benefits! ~the aura of mystery and more questions ahaha~ It's pretty much up to our imagination as to what they are saying! Anyhow, I hope you get a chance to rewatch it if you are enjoying the drama!!

on another note, i was honestly quite surprised that chen ji (is he now known as fu shui?) appeared; like damn, it makes me wonder if he approached the Crown Prince because of another reason

I'm definitely with you on the court politics side but in this drama so far, I'm not getting a lot of vibes on it going into schemes and strategies either. and ooo, I haven't had a chance to watch the second trailer if it was different from the first, do you happen to have a link to it? and on another note, it definitely is true that kissing is quite expected & fu rou is often embarrassed about it but ahaha I just feel slightly uncomfortable watching the scenes

Ahaha, perhaps it might be because I've watched other c-dramas with more palace life + court/harem politics that is more intriguing, but although there are conflict between the crown prince and things like that, I'm not actually seeing everything connecting together too much. but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how it gets darker and how it connects together!
