This is not that big of a question, but: So Jang Jun Woo came from the US, and to clarify, was it specifically New York? (I remember the scene where Cha Young mentioned for him not to speak english just because he came from new york - does someone remember which episode that was in?) And if he really is from New York, it was also mentioned that he went to Stanford Law school, but that's in California, so how does that work?

Ahhh, not going to lie, I kind of feel bad for Hwang Min-seong (the President of Shinkwang Bank). I mean he did have dating abuse problems, but it just feels not very good to play with his feelings sjionskdsn
Thank you for the amazing article! The fairytales in It's Okay to Not be Okay were honestly my favorite part of the drama + the OSTs. Each of the fairytales always have that deeper meaning to it, and I still remember how Moon Young always had this slightly scarier meaning behind each of her stories. and the parallelism tho!
I would say pretty close! The novel is 100% BL, meaning there are quite sexual scenes too between the two main characters, while the drama is more of bromance. As for the plot, there has been a bit of a change with the villains, and some of the episodes had information that was not in the novel (i.e. *spoiler* wen kexing ended up being part of four season manor), but the background of each character matches pretty well in general.
Great article, very easy to read and really hits home! I agree, the chemistry in this dramas is simply amazing. While…
Thank you! And yes! The Untamed honestly is still quite different from Word of Honor, and we do kind of see a more BL side - ahaha, I love the flirty scenes thooo - towards Word of Honor than the Untamed, but both are definitely good dramas! Both also covers different themes, too; The Untamed is more about spirituality, whereas Word of Honor is more about wugong. Ahh, a similarity though, both of them talk about this one piece of valuable thing; The Untamed was the tiger seal and Word of Honor was glazed armour, so there definitely are some similarities there too.
Aww, ahaha, yess, Cheng Ling is definitely one of the best, and ahaha, I just really loved the family vibe between the three of them!
Oh my, I've been wanting to watch this series since a long time ago, but I heard the ending was quite sad, and I am a happy-ending drama type of person. Could someone spoil the ending to me? (or just mention what kind of ending this drama has?)
Hmm, it would depend on what you mean by real identity!ZZS found out WKX's identity as the Ghost Valley Master…
Kinda of! So, yes, ZZS knew about WKX's real parents about episode 19-20. and in episode 24, although ZZS never truly mentioned about WKX's identity as the ghost valley master, I have this feeling that he already knows. (plus, in episode 25, everyone already knew WKX is the ghost valley master, so it's only time when ZZS figured it out)
Can someone tell me what chapter in the novel ZZS or ZCL finds out WKX's real identity?
Hmm, it would depend on what you mean by real identity! ZZS found out WKX's identity as the Ghost Valley Master at around chapter 33 (though he guessed earlier on, just revealed that he knew at chapter 33) while WKX's back story involving his birth parents were revealed at around chapter 77..
It is heartbreaking that when Xiang dies.. what that must do to WKX..Child dying is devastating.. however, for…
Awww, omg, I totally agree. It was really heartbreaking to read the novel where Gu Xiang actually dies :( On a more positive note though, Priest did include a chapter of Gu Xiang and Cao Weining in the afterlife, which did bring things a bit more up though I definitely agree that it is really heartbreaking for WKX
Question for people who have read the novel. Up to what is aired now (ep21)Is the production until now close to…
The beginning of episode 20 (long que's death) is chapter 51 in the novel As for episodes 21, there honestly aren't any events that stuck out, and I believe the events that happened in ep 21 might be strictly in the drama rather than the novel
There's no shixiong/shidi relationship between ZZS and WKX in the novel. They're strangers that meet and form…
Ahh, I'm glad to hear! I officially spent another hour searching through the novel to see when they even mentioned that WKX was semi-part of the the Four Season Manor ahaha.
