ok shu's officially a villain of the story! I knew that drink he gave her was sus cz he looked creepy for a second and then the way he stared at the red stone and it flew towards him, ep 5 just confirmed it with him kidnapping demons to create an elixir for the FL! The dude's obsessed with her and will do anything to get rid of her human side. Can't wait for when the leads get together, shu's gonna snap and go full villain then

i think i saw him in the trailer so might actually appear, but are we sure shu is not a hidden villain/2ML obsessed with her cz they way he looked at the red stone was sus and how the rat lord was scared of him abit kinda signals a dark path for this character

is it a HE and if so, do they get married or just lovers? cz the fl seems to be a freespirit not interested in marriage

also, will ruling be fully on their side later on or will she scheme to get her family out no matter what which might end in friction between her and tingyan when it blows over in the end? I get the feeling it might be connected to what causing the FL to lose her memory at the end of this arc to start the demon arc. I hope she's a real friend who might help her remember the ml later on as well

does the ML ever find out about her modern life? when she loses her memories in the future, it'll be helpful for him as proof of their past relationship as someone close enough to tell him that

Delusional second leads are so unnecessary. i refuse to believe real ppl don't have the emotional capacity to see their romantic interest is attracted to someone else who mutually likes them and yet you're planning your future with her like she already accepted you. in what way did he yan show CZ even a slight romantic interest ? she never asked him for anything while he always inserts himself in situations to be close to her . she just treats him like a friend or someone you don't hate cz he has been a normal person infront of her but if he showed his true colors for even a second she'd turn 180 on him, that's how low he ranks on her scale of interest

since the FL is a salted fish and the body she is in is weak, does she get stronger or will the ML be the only one who fights? also, does she find out about the venom in her or her connection to the demon realm or not? and does the ML find out about her transmigration/lost memories of being a spy which eases his suspicions of her or is it something else?

Ah no I didn’t mean this part, I meant after the marriage was granted and she was exposed as the true general instead of her brother, the second lead used it to his advantage to complain to the emperor that it’d gonna be a power imbalance and they shouldn’t which worries the emperor Cz 2 powerhouses are marrying so how do they get out of that?

that's so adorable! Since the scene regarding the 2nd lead complaining about the generals marrying causing a power imbalance coming up, how is it resolved or what is said that gets them to marry?

yh i hope her master gets to clear up the misunderstanding with the princess and be together now, i dont see her husband so probably them getting together might work out

is anyone else annoyed whenever the 2nd lead is with he yan? i hope the leads confess to one another already cz the 2nd lead is crossing boundries with gifts and jmost probably a future proposal fully knowing the leads like each other and he yan only sees him as the most platonic friend evver. ugh the leads need more scenes

the illness makes sense since it's a an unpredictable chronic condition that is sometimes ok to live with and other times as severe as respiratory paralysis so it's actually nice to see them showing that process and not sugarcoating it. But the worsening of the condition in this case is cz he wasnt as attentive to his medication ( which an important message ) and they needed a safe way for his ex to find out (better seeing than being told) so i dont think he'll worsen as much later on, maybe a little hospitalisation time cz he chose to be there for the kids rather than take his much needed rest but it's not a tragic drama just realistic.
Also, it matters not if the staff finds out cz an illness is not grounds for firing him so i dont get why the big deal about it but i guess it's needed as a plot point so the world can find out and lessen the blame on him which explains the incoming reporter

question for the novel readers, does xiao ju find out the whole truth post confessing and officially together or before that? if before, is it soon or will that arc be much later (maybe after she ups the ranks at his army ?)

ok i've been trying to figure out if this is worth the watch, are the FL and jenna grey but slightly good characters or super grey morals and actually not worth rooting for. Is it similar to penthouse where we root for the revenge or are the lead characters here selfish? at least do they change and redeem themselves or no ounce of that?
