As @Bahar said, LLH never fought him back, LLH broke his sword when SSJ challenged LLH.

He indeed is annoying.

Unfortunately, LLH didn't put him in his place. He already let go of past grievances. LLH just told him that WanMian left him because of his own insecurities. Yes, he tried to harm LLH in the middle episodes (don't remember which ones) but don't worry, he was ineffective. And he was not an outright villain who tried to actively harm LLH.

No worries. In episode 27, I think. The different plots start to culminate around that episode as well

Well said. That's why I really admire LLH. It takes bravery to let go of his supposedly "glory" of his past and chose how to live his life.

Definitely no romance between them in the future. No dragging scenes in this series. They both have moved on.
