I tried SOMD.. I just can't go on because of the 2nd ml mumbling voice... also I don't like the cute lady in red…
I only watched the first few episodes of SoMD. I found that the ML was rather annoying although he was super smart. I guess I need to watch more episodes. I love the little animation they have to describe scenes.
For people who are lost as I'm after Mysterious Lotus casebook ended What to watch next ??Here are some good Bromance…
"Strange Tales of the Tang Dynasty"for wuxia, bromance and mystery fans and "Side Story of Fox Volant" for traditional wuxia, besides those you mentioned.
Nirvana in Fire is a good one. Fast paced and no fast forward button. Planning to watch joy of life and maybe…
I haven't watched other Joseph dramas but I plan to watch "Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre" plus "Ultimate Note" as one is classical Jin Yong wuxia and the other is from the Lost Tomb series.
I'm in the same boat with you about xianxia. For the shows MLC cast, how about "Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying…
Was it bad? I have read some parts of the novel and I heard they whitewash some of the characters. It's a classic Jin Yong's wuxia that's why I intend to watch it.

No worries.
Good luck with Heavenly Saber, I will watch it when I have the time as well.
I think that's the problem with Lost Tomb series, they put a lot of questions and cliffhangers but not answering them. That's why I have been putting off watching them as well.
We have the same taste in term of wuxia and detective series :) Yes, I enjoy MLC the most out of all of those you have watched as well.
I'm not sure whether you're interested in Cheng Yi modern drama about judges in China. Depends on your interest, some people enjoy them.
I'm trying to find another show to watch and stop myself from re-watching MLC again. The number of times I've…
I'm in the same boat with you about xianxia. For the shows MLC cast, how about "Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre (2019)" with Joseph Zheng. It's Jin Yong's creation with traditional wuxia so not really a mystery. I have been planning to watch it.
Another one came to mind is "Lost Tomb 2" with Cheng Yi although I also haven't watched it, from MDL comments, it seems Cheng Yi doesn't appear much although his role is important. Not sure if you're familiar with the Lost Tomb series. I've watched "The Mystic Nine" and "Lost Tomb 1".
For mysteries genre but not my MLC cast, I think the recommendation sections already have the answers, "Strange Tales of the Tang Dynasty" and "The Ancient Detective" are two other shows about solving crimes. I only watch halfway through "League of Noblemen" but I think you might like it as well.
I'm still stuck in rewatching episode 1, I need to rewatch the rest.
