Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty, Tientsin Mystic (I dropped the latter, but the Intro was interesting)
Yes, Strange Tales has great intro. I forgot the intro in Tienstin Mystic, Lol.
I think "The Mystic Nine"has very interesting intro and they changed every few episodes although some of the intro are not in the drama so perhaps they do it for style.
Is it just me or have we been getting some rather novel intro sequences lately? ● Blood of Youth feels a little…
The intro in League of Nobleman reminds me of the intro in "American Horror Story" minus the horror of course. It's just the disjointed scenes and the instrument reminds me of that
I loved the original show so much, How is it different from the original also is there a love triangle when does…
I haven't watched the original. From what I heard, this one is less dark because instead of murder case, it deals with a divorce case. The leads also try to prevent some deaths in this show.
As for them getting together, I don't remember the exact episodes, I think it's past the halfway mark so around episode 13 or 14.
No love triangle. Although the ML from 2021 started to love FL but FL already dated the ML from 2022. If you consider them as the same person but 4 months apart then no triangle. FL only loves the ML from 2022 though.
Yes, the drama is very good but there are flaws and you bring up some of them. There are almost too many side…
Thanks for mentioning these. I'm glad there will be less characters to remember in the future.
Also good to see his acting improves later on. I do like Xiao Se from what I have seen so far with his feigning disinterest in his surrounding and his stinginess. I have read spoilers about his real identity and it's not hard to put two and two together because they mentioned about the missing prince at the beginning of the show.
Looking forward to watch this properly in the future then.
Thanks for the review. I only watched up to the middle of episode 4 and put it on hold after all episodes are out. I don't want to pay Youku to watch only this show. LOL. I also put it on hold because there are too many characters so I need to really concentrate and I don't feel like doing it for now.
Acting wise I'm glad that you like them because I think some complains that Li Hong Yi and some other young actors don't really "act".
Hey guys, I'm looking for other Wuxias dramas to watch while I don't wait for the new TBoY EP... and I found Side…
Have you watched other Jin Yong's shows besides Side Story? All his shows are traditional wuxia dramas such as Condor Heroes trilogy,
I've watched The Legend of Condor Heroes (2017) recently and I really enjoyed it. It has a lot of colorful characters. I plan to watch the others but still finding out which are the good ones because there are so many remakes. Of course everybody loves the original The Legend of Condor Heroes (1983) from TVB.
Fight Break Sphere with Wulei is greatSword Snow StrideJoy of LifeYoung Blood
Thanks for the recommendation. I've watched "Joy of Life", still on hold for "Sword Snow Stride" as it progresses really slow. Haven't heard of "Fight Break Sphere", need to check it out.
Big warning for anyone watching this series: If you have eye issues like me with eye motion sickness, DO NOT watch…
Nice to see you here after Strange Tales. I'm only up to episode 3. So far it's really interesting, if I can watch up to 3, that means it's not boring.
I also a fan of the LOTR Trilogy. Yes, I heard that the Rings of Power is not good so I didn't even bother to start. Same with "House of the Dragon" although some people who are fans of "Game of Thrones" like them. Not a lot of good new shows nowadays. That's a good strategy. Watching good old shows.
By the way, Happy New Year to you and everyone else reading it. May this year has brought more happiness for everyone.
Wow, congrats, number 9. It's really good as compared to other shows with more famous stars.
For the Western shows, I only have heard of House of the Dragon and Andor. Haven't heard of all the other shows. That's the thing with too many streaming services. Can't keep up.

The camera movement is indeed very fast
Yes, the fight choreo is great.

PS: I'm curious about one thing. I'll PM you.
