It indeed wasn't a happy ending. I watched the last episode of Legend of Zhu. Sometime before I dropped the show, I watched the ending first just for completeness but not always.
Do you mean The Four or Swords of Legends? I watched 2.5 episodes of Swords of Legends and haven't finished it yet because of other shows. That show has a lot of stars.
Thanks :) I hope you enjoy this as well despite being annoyed. Yes, I've just watched 27&28 so shoot (not literally like Mu Chuan of course) He indeed dominated the screentime. I think I only saw ML for less than 10 minutes in total for 2 episodes. Sometime I don't get any email notification for any reply hence I don't know that I get any message.
I also started to like him in "The Mystic Nine", before that I didn't know any of the cast besides Zhao Liying. I actually watched the show for her although she only appeared from 10 onward. But I stayed for William (and Ying Haoming plus Zhang Mingen)
Then I checked "Legend of Zhu Mountain" because both of them were there but I dropped it despite liking both of them. LOL.
After that I watched "Age of Legends" and I loved it. In fact, my mom said she has watched the show when it aired on TV.
I also watched "Lost Love in Time" and "Only Side by Side with U". I think William's acting has improved a lot with more shows.
Also looking forward to "Novoland Pearl Eclipse" although it seems only God knows when it will air :)
LOL. Yes, you can ask me as long as I've watched the episodes. I'm dependent on Dramacool in this case.
True, they're separated so often. I think because SML spends so much time with Mu Chuan and seems to agree with him most of the time (as long as not involving Jun Jie's safety). I'm also worried he might stab Jun Jie in the back later on.
True. Pool ML has gone through so much so at least he needs that.
I guess he is officially still dead so the police doesn't look for him. I don't think he is free yet. When he wanted to kill Mu Chuan, he said since I'm already accused of killing anyway, what's more adding one by killing you. That means he is still not free. As for MOIS not chasing him, I guess depends on what Mu Chuan plan. They're more worried for VX3 now.
I think his friend is still loyal to ML for now. He saved the controller for the VX3 as bargaining chip for ML's freedom. He pretended to be loyal to Mu Chuan but still kept some secrets from him. Who knows who he will be loyal to in the future? I hope he will.
I don't think she is his sister because the uncles from mother and father's side are different. And she called him using uncle from the father's side. Perhaps Mu Chuan likes her mother. That's my guess.
I also don't know why he doesn't like Jun Jie. Perhaps something related to his parents. Also he said he is not not good enough for the FL. Or because he is too impulsive and can't be controlled like his master who got killed 3 years ago. Mu Chuan told the SML that was the reason: the impulsive part and can't be controlled so a danger for MOIS. There might be a deeper reason that haven't been explained yet.
The explanation for VX3 is very vague. Something that can connect to every digital things including satellites, computer databases around the world. It can used to activate nuclear bombs. I think it was used to caused financial crash in an earlier episode when Mu Chuan brought it to Mois.
I think he is her adopted father as she called him that to stop ML from killing him. He knew her parents especially her mom. And from what Amanda said, he might cause her mother's death as well.
Yes, you're right. I watched up to 24 and Mu Chuan was behind ML's parents death. I think it has been implied before but it's explained in 24. Also the ML's parents created the VX3. It also seems that SML's father is Alpha or one of the three leaders of the Scorpio. But that could be a red herring and it's someone else.
From what I understand, MOIS is a security agency who is paid to protect people and/or stuff. It's not clearly defined in the show. I understand around 90% of Mandarin, the rest just guesswork or ask my mom.
I agree that the villains get too much screen time. I also prefer when the main characters are active and doing investigation or fighting. At least the ML has escaped in 23 .
Simon Yam has been typecasted to play villains. When I saw the cast, I already thought of him a a villain. LOL.
As for the lack of something that makes the show more interesting, I think it's they haven't fleshed out the characters to make us care for them. At least, the flashback between 2 leads and also the flashback for ML and SML as children fill that part but it's slowly.
As I discussed with someone else, "Age of Legends" is not really a thriller but we get so invested in the characters so we want them to succeed in whatever they're doing. They could flesh out the characters more here as well.
AgreedAction ia not my genreBut I want to watch this just for William ChanI already fall for him since Lost Love…
Lol, I am similar. Action, thriller, and mystery is my favorite genres which is whyii don't watch many C-dramas. II aam not against romance as long as it's not the main focus. I watched Love Lost in Times because of William Chan, lol but I was pleasantly surprised that I really liked the plots and characters
Please spoiler for meWhat episode when the ML was arrested?I only get interested for William Chan and want to…
He was arrested twice, once by the police in episode 6 and once by the bad guys in episode 12. At this stage he's got more time to be captive than free.
I have no idea. I understand Mandarin so I watched it raw. I'm only up to episode 10 so I can't answer your question in another thread about episode 14.

Unfortunately no. Not sure if there is any deleted scene with subtitle. Perhaps anyone else can help.
Thank you for your article. Nice job :) As I said in another reply, I started to like him in "The Mystic Nine" (the first Chinese drama I finished watching all episodes in one week rather than skipping it like I did to nearly all C-dramas but I'm really new to C-dramas. LOL.) I went to look for his shows. Dropped "Legend of Zhu" because I know it got convoluted, just wanted to know what the show was about. Also finished "Age of Legends" like in one week as I was really invested in the story. William's acting has really improved dramatically in "Age of Legends". I guess he is back into period drama again with Yang Mi but that Novoland's Pearl Eclipse hasn't aired yet. Really looking forward to "Dancing in the Storm". Will also check out the rest of his shows (but look at reviews first before starting).
Well, I do not watch many C-drama so I have only a few Chinese actors & actress that I fond of. He is one of them.…
LOL, I also don't watch many C-dramas. Just started some recently. I also got to enjoy the Mystic Nine despite a lot of plotholes (LOL) and really liked William in it. I didn't even know who he was before. I went to check his filmography. I dropped Legend of Zhu. I was impressed by his acting in "Age of Legends". I think he is really suitable for action roles. I'm working slowly watching his shows but I also check the reviews first. I wish "Dancing in the Storm" will air already :)

True. I also watch it for William especially in action shows. But I barely see him. LOL.
Yes.
I meant I was hooked with "Age of Legends" for its story and characters. Not so much for this show. Hopefully thing will turn better for the leads.
I think he is her adopted father as she called him that to stop ML from killing him. He knew her parents especially her mom. And from what Amanda said, he might cause her mother's death as well.
