I didn't start this yet, but I've watched a good part of his dramas. The only kdrama where his acting was somewhat decent is Mr. Queen, other than that, none of his performances were satisfactory (to me at least). Hope he improved.

Well I think you should rate each season separately because giving a 1/10 rating for season 1 is kinda misleading. Btw, I share your pov S1>>>>>S2 (but imo both are overrated, 9.1 is insane)

Not necessarily, MDL didn't even count the bad ratings. If you check the detailed rating (by putting the cursor on the rating) , you will notice that MDL didn't count those bad ratings and reviews. So it has nothing to do with that incident. The drama simply isn't that good anymore. It can be downgraded, like any other drama.

if you like the genre, go for it. It's not that bad, imo it deserves an 8 - 8.5 rating (by MDL standards). I think the rating dropped because some people felt lost after ep 6 because from that ep, so much has happened in a considerably short amount of time. Also having to wait a whole week may make it difficult for some people to follow all the details. However, I think if you binge watch it, you would be more satisfied with the pace. PS: The acting is Stellar especially the FL! I've been watching her movies these past years and I can firmly say that she's an A-list actress.

Exactly ! The amount of hatred from both parties is unbelievable ! You have some people unleashing their nasty xenophobic and racist trash mindset, cursing a whole ethnic, religious group... If someone got offended of some scenes or whatever, they have the right to call it out, period. Any exaggeration, death threats ... are inacceptable too but this doesn't give others the right to bash an entire nation, group, minority ! You also have some people turning it into a political war, like wth? This isn't twitter or FB. This has really gotten out of hands.. I've always liked MDL because it had a very healthy and peaceful community, what the hell is happening to you people ?

MDL Rating always take a while before it's updated but if you put the cursor on the rating, you will see in details 'currently watching' is on 7.02 , "completed" is on 4.01, dropped on 1.41, and the verified accounts gave it 8.2
It will be released in 2023 (source is Hancinema). Apparently the delay was because Tang Wei couldn't film her scenes in 2020 with the rest of the cast. I think because she was shooting decision to leave in that same period. It's also mentioned that her scenes were supposed to be filmed in 2021.

she didn't actually do it, she was going to attempt it but YSH stopped her (rooftop scene). She just faked her death by throwing her car into the river in order to uncover the truth about the bbbfamous account.
