It is but imo It would be better if you just wait for it to end and then binge watch it so that you can skip the dull parts. Personally, I put it on hold in ep 8 so that I can binge watch it later.
This is plausible too. But I think she's young woo's mother nevertheless because in a previous ep director Han said that she looks like her mother which implies that she knows her mother. Idk..
That was one hell of a drama... what a masterpiece! Story, actors, OST... all was so good. I like grey characters…
Unlike many people in this comment section, I really liked the ending. I know it was painful but tbh I don't think a happy ending would've given us such a memorable aftertaste. It's called 'Misty' for a reason after all so the ending should be misty. What an intense journey!
That was one hell of a drama... what a masterpiece! Story, actors, OST... all was so good. I like grey characters and this drama didn't disappoint me. I haven't seen a great FL like GHR for ages. I didn't feel this much of suspense and thrill in a long time (since TWOTM to be more precise) I'll write about the final ep in a reply so I'll mark it as a spoiler
I can’t stop listening to OST. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to an OST that fully encompassed a drama.…
I know this comment is old but I wanna emphasize on the beauty of this OST. If you don't bother I wanna add the OST of 'the world of the married' , 'tempted' (the adaptation of liaisons dangereuses) and 'Secret Love Affair'
I initially stopped watching this after the first episode because I thought this was just another boring love…
I didn't know about this poem! But I really think it's derived from it. I was always wondering about the title. What a meaningful title to a thrilling drama !
Very likely because they are very similar in character and as we know apples never fall far from the tree, both…
yeah, even the way she looked at him when she found him waiting in front of the house (ep8) is sus... I think she's trying to distance him from the revenge plot that's why she didn't like Ra el's relationship with him.
It depends on whether u like makjang or not to be honest. I'm a big makjang fan and I'm really enjoying it but…
Since you're new to Makjangs then allow me to recommend to you some quality makjang dramas : the penthouse would be one of the best (CGI, good acting, great costumes...), plot wise there are some low budget good makjangs such as "gracious revenge" and "mother of mine" (revenge isn't really the main focus here but it's a good story)
i dont like dong seok nor his arc and we the last arc we got is with his mom who i dislike even more than himi…
I believe that It depends on where you're from, your family, your cultural background ect. Westerners tend to be more self-oriented. On the other hand, asians, middle-easterners, africans value family more. So you may find something so irritating and unforgivable about his mother whereas asians would judge it as forgivable and vice-versa. I think it's a cultural thing. Ps: I'm not trying to give her / siblings an excuse, I'm just trying to analyse the different opinions that I've read on SM.
Would have been good if it is 10 eps drama. 16 episodes is too many for this drama. So much screentime given to…
I confirm and I find it really unfortunate because the first half was so good but then the pace became slow and the story became cheesy and predictable.
I was hoping The Queen Dowager would fall walking on that path, got some satisfaction when she opened the door…
I don't really think that she was thirsty for power, she was ok with her life until the moment PGW 'dumped' her and became loyal to the FL. From her pov, it's either her or FL. She couldn't accept the fact that he was supporting YJ. I mean, she sacrificed her life for his dreams (becoming the queen wasn't in her plans, she was in love with him and that's all that mattered for her) She has always found an excuse for him, but after he attempted (in her opinion) to replace her, she was done at this point.
