I’m wondering when is Dilraba’s next modern drama? I usually prefer modern dramas over historical. Also I hope that she’ll be able to pair up with Xiao zhan or Li xian. I wanted them to pair up after watching them attend the same award ceremony!

I agree with you. I believe he had feelings for her when they were in high school but he decided to choose someone who would benefit him like someone with good grades (like his ex). We don’t truly know how he thought about her back then since it didn’t show us his pov but I believe he at least thought she was pretty. Plus when they met, you could see him mesmerized by her beauty so we can’t say he felt nothing there. He was just trying to be realistic with his goals & aiming for someone who is considered to be of higher status (like a celebrity) would be considered unrealistic. I also think he gradually fell for her due to her optimistic attitude & how she always tried to cheer him up. She believed in his dreams even when it might not be idealistic (something his ex gave up on).

It’s even worse that it says he cheated on her and it was an “accident”…. There’s no 2nd chance after that since it’s most likely that he’s gonna do it again…

I wish I didn’t watch the drama yet so that I would be able to rewatch it without knowing what happens! If I know what happens then I usually skip the scenes I don’t like! Idk if it’s only me!

Idk if you’ve watched it yet but you should watch go ahead (it has a touching story about not only romance but also about family) & skate into love (it’s kind of a sport romance but it’s very sweet even though it might be long)

I’m not really that much of a fan of him since he’s a bit stiff in ‘you are my destiny’ but I’m probably gonna watch this drama for Xing Fei! I’m also probably gonna get 2nd ml syndrome cuz I liked li ge yang in the ‘love equations’!

I agree. I feel like the synopsis basically talks about how they first meet and how gaming helped connect them but it was the main idea of the drama. The drama talked more about realistic struggles and why yu tu thought they couldn’t be together. There’s more to the story than what the synopsis says.

This comment deserves more attention. You explained it perfectly and I hope people stop saying that Li shiyi deserves better. If that’s being said then the same thing would be said for Xiaoju. They don’t deserve better just because both of their crushes has feelings for someone else. It takes a while to get over your crush, especially if it’s your first love, so we should wait until Xiaoju is ready rather than her hastily accepting Li Shiyi.

They have more of a subtle romantic kind of feeling! The way he looks as her feels as if he’s looking at the most precious thing in the world! I’m so done with this drama if they don’t end up together!
