Am I the only one who now wants to read the novel? I feel like the novel had more of a super sweet yet unrealistic views. Like some of the lines are super romantic but it would be unrealistic to see it in real life. Reading the novel might allow my imagination to go wild and I can imagine yangdi couple in the novel.

I low key wish they showed us his thoughts from when they were in middle/high school since they mostly showed us the female thoughts. I read a comment said that he could have possibly had feelings for her back then but we never really got to see his pov so we don’t know his true feelings.

Oh thank you! I’ve never thought about it that way but now that you brought it up, I could see it. The times when he looked at her posters there was always some distance between them that he tried to maintain. He always viewed her as someone who was too good for him and was out of his reach! Thank you for bringing that up!

Lol I’m rewatching it from episode 15 since I don’t wanna watch the last few episodes since that means that this drama is truly over. I’ve been waiting since they announced this drama to come out til this day for it to be released. When r we ever gonna get a legendary cast or chemistry like this one?

I absolutely agree like the time when they were on the balcony after they ate hot pot. When she was trying to comfort him about him trying to change his career, the way he looked at her just made my heart flutter. Also the times when he would look at posters of her, it was a sweet yet sad look. You could see that he wants to be with her but can’t due to some circumstances. Idk how many times I cried in this drama but even rewatching these clips still makes me tear up. This is my favorite drama of 2021 now!

I hope it goes higher! This drama has maturity, no petty misunderstandings, chemistry and a wonderful storyline! More fans should watch this drama and the visuals of the leads are a bonus!

This drama is really realistic since it talked about adversity as you become an adult. Even though jingjing and yu tu love each other, sometimes love might not be enough. Yu tu considered other points about how she was more successful than he was and if they were gonna last or not. I love the comment you made since I absolutely agree. The scene where jingjing cries is also so beautiful since it was full of emotion and I just loved it!

I do like how the positions are reversed and yu tu is the one who is trying to chase after her. She’s been doing that ever since middle school so it was nice to see him be in her shoes for a while. These scenes with him running after her was realistic since a lot of people realize their feelings too late so they are just left with regret. I’m glad he kind of threw away his pride just so that he could get her attention again. Love isn’t about pride but being able to show your genuine love for someone. I was glad to see her standing up for herself since it would have been unrealistic for her to simply accept him after what she’s experienced through all the painful years of loving him. She went through a lot and he should be able to go through something similar to realize how she is a girl who genuinely cares for him. The scene where she was crying and deleting all the messages when she found out yu tu had a girlfriend was a memorable memory since it showed how deep her feelings for him was and it wasn’t just simply a crush.

Even the simple actions like where he lovingly looks at her tells me that he genuinely loves her. This drama has such beautiful scenes and the acting was amazing! The 2nd rejection made me cry when jingjing cried but it made me cry even more when yu tu shed that single tear drop. It showed how he genuinely wanted to be with her but he couldn’t since he probably thought she deserved someone else with her status. I really liked this scene since it gave us the reality that sometimes a relationship like this (celebrity and normal person) still has other aspects to look at and not just simply because “they’re in love.”
