I absolutely agree with you! Everyone is always calling her out for what she says to Shiyi but he says some pretty insensitive things sometimes to her yet no one says anything since they feel bad for him. We shouldn’t forget that she also liked Cheng Lang for quite a while due to the fact that he was always nice to her and always helped her. If we put ourselves in her shoes then would you rather go after someone who always teases you like Shiyi (nothing against him since I ship him and Xiaoju) or someone who always helps you like Cheng Lang? Even though it might take a while, I’m hoping for Shiyi & Xiaoju to end up together! I love the bickering between them and how he silently protects her.

THANK YOU! I saw lots of comment hate on Xiaoju for not liking Shiyi but we gotta put ourselves in her shoes. He’s been teasing her ever since they met so she can’t suddenly fall in love! The reason why she fell for Chang leng was due to the fact that he was always nice to her. I’m glad that she’s starting to fall for him but im hoping she realizes soon or they won’t be together!

I’m not sure about him returning since I’m only on ep 13 but I read somewhere that there’s maybe gonna be conflict between taotao and huang jun. idk if someone said it from the novel or the drama.

I’m hoping so cuz I even saw the ml kiss the other girl…. I can’t believe they might not end up together or until the last minute. I now want the leads in a drama where there’s a lot of romance! They have so much chemistry!

I heard some people say that the main leads are not gonna end up together while others say they are due to a clip of them in wedding clothes… I’m hoping she realizes her feelings soon or it’ll be like the novel! I wanted to read the novel before the drama but i stopped myself since I wanted there to be no spoilers for me when watching the drama. I wanted the drama to be surprising for me so that I’ll be invested more and if I read the novel then I’ll know what happens.

These episodes are definitely my favorite. Jingjing was the one who was always chasing after him so it was nice to see him realize his feelings for her overtime and see his regret for rejecting her. We mostly saw the pov of jingjing’s true feelings so it was different to see the pov of Yu Tu.

I see what you’re saying. He did say that he dated xia qing just because he thought of her as successful and he didn’t have real feelings for her. I think what you’re saying is right since he developed feelings for jingjing after he found about how hard she worked to try to be good enough for him. She also kept motivating him to strive for his dreams whereas his ex girlfriend dumped him for trying to pursue his dreams.

Is it good? Better than the series or are both of them equal?

I love seeing my favorite actors and actresses get along with each other! I’m planning to watch her ongoing drama “A river runs though it” after it’s finished!

The scenes in ep 17 when he remembers all of her kind gestures towards him makes me feel a different type of way. Also the scene where he’s talking with zhai liang and said that he made her upset which is why they’ll never see her again was just so emotional. Him putting his face in his palms makes me frustrated to see him regret his rejection towards her. I’m so invested in this drama and also this comment section!
