They are both good, but so far they have different directions. Anime has a yandere character, a masochist friend, a chuunibyo, more focused on najimi, introduced komi’s mom and bro, and a classmate who wants Komi as a rival. It reminds me of Tanaka kun anime
While this drama is more fast paced, and has characters like gyaru, delinquent, clean freak and her friend, and a narcissist. I’m not sure if they will appear in the upcoming eps of the anime but they are definitely on the manga.

I watched this for Tsumabuki, and I was once again able to see his great acting although the movie is dark. His portrayal of the old character is so realistic, even how he changed his voice.
