The roles she has been offered and she lacks smart backers that can get her interesting roles in interesting projects. Gotta like how with his criminally limited screentime Wang Xing Yue managed to draw people attention and grow in popularity. Now I see him more on BiliBili lately.
I think even the drama YZ made it without taking it seriously and not necessarly having in mind it would grab attention. So I guess he could careless about the treatment of ML in his show. He produced his thing without much thoughts, did not promote it properly at all, dumped it somewhere to some obscure plateform for distribution, thinking drama will just go through under the radar anyway so who is gonna complain about Greg (WXY) screentime (or lackthereof) ? Well drama emerged a success, got the attention and can all see how he treated the ML.
I think contrary to Scent of time, YZ takes his next drama "The double" with Wu Ji Han and Wang Xing Yue more seriously. He started promoting it aggressively and we see a lot of ML in the teaser. So maybe it will be different
FINALLY I find one good thing about ZXW, he is being a good Lord and making sure everybody pay for their crimes…
Talking about law of universe, the FL attitude that you described up here reminds me of certain nations' folks today that hate being reminded of their ancestors til present daymisdeeds. And they rebuke the word "Karma" with passion while trying and justify a lot of things. FL behaviour is very close to a lot of people's today. Her selfishness is somehow relatable.
