It was entertaining actually and for me I cared about the OTP lovestory. Bigger cdramas (except for that one scene in "Reset" this year) didn't manage to make me have butterflies in my stomach for a lead couple whenever they are in the same scene not even LBFaD (I was more drawn into that universe beauty and Dylan vast improvement and some of the supporting backstory and how they were fleshed). I mean look at the last kissing scene btw TiangYi and TingYao. Even during that moment it is spicy and charged with a lot of s*xual hormones. It is ironic how this year the dramas that gave that kind of intense s*xual vibe btw the leads even when they don't kiss, were mini shows like "Eldest princess on top" "Night of love with you" and this one here.
For me I think that's why people think this show, for what it is was good? It was not supposed to make them stick with that (abs or not). But it trended. I like how it is implied the FL became stronger and smarter at the end tho. Good. But the worst thing that team did (the pD is a woman) is making us believe it is an open ending when it is obvious it is not. That is bad bad storytelling here.

Really ? It is weird. One thing I kinda hope about the team behind that show is, even though they are doing mini dramas and are pressured for time and money, to keep on improving on their storytelling. One can see a HUGE lack of skills on that department. One can see that at certain point (maybe pressure to end things) the effort ob telling a good story went through the windows. Compare it to "Night of Love with You" and you can see the people behind it still cared about it and put some effort on it til the end pressure or not. So it is still possible to improve. But is the woman that gave us this mini willing to hone her skills and getting better with each project ? We will see.

It was a short drama with limited budget I even think they didn't expected this amount of attention even with an half-naked ML to begin with. So I kinda forgive them. "Night of Love with you" remains the best made mini drama of the year for me followed by the super short "Eldest sister on top". I wished those mini drama had more money to make decent things and start rivaling their bugger counterpart that have become stale and keep on recycling the same traffic actors as main leads while overlooking and wasting loads of talents. Those short series can be the plateforms for a lot of talents.
We all know this drama is bad. We all knew before watching, and knowing it is a mini show made cheaply, it would be bad. But this drama managed to do what a lot of bigger shows with bigger means and traffic actors fail sometimes (at least for me) : feeling the real tense love between the OTP. They had a lot of sensuality btw them. It was wild and spicy. Thank you !
