Recently Wang Xing Yue did a livestream (see link below) and on the video he was bluntly stating how he is afraid of shooting modern dramas. Boy is still very aware of his limits and he knows he needs to get stronger as an actor. I wish YuZheng was not as densely artistically limited and had the will to push him and overcome his fears and challenges for growth. When I watched it I couldn't help but feel bad for him. He is still very young (soon to be 23) and I hope he gets to meet someone that will help his artistic skills (simeone like Zhang Ruo Yun for example). Even I cheer for him I am aware he is not there yet actingwise. I depise seeing wasted talents and potentials (and honestly I thought he was good in AASSOL even he was still playing the same "mature" man) and I wish I could reach him and advise him to get in touch with people that would help him on that matter.

I have a strong feeling even today you would rate it good (drama must be dear to your heart) and I have a strong feeling even closer to our current time you had no issue cheering for hot but rude and acting-superior MLs in dramas.

They literally found a ML that was killing the FL in a game several times in the first episode of a drama, "adorable" ! And they made said drama A HIT and even the likes of avenue x (another "feminist") called it one of the best idol dramas of 2024 ! I was reading another comment on reddit concerning that part and apparently, from what I read those boys got punished for their misbehaviours as in : Yang Xian was removed from his official position and basically sent back to his hometown in disgrace after trying to force Kan Ning to be his concubine; and the man who tries to rape Qiongnu ultimately has his leg broken (and also goes back to his town in disgrace). I am surprised you don't mention this.
