Lol when some here are trying hard and make this one equal to JOL on quality it makes me laugh. I mean only on OST JOL beats that one by miles !

It means they have zero chemistry if no matter everything you have explained up here people still hate that pair. It means ZRY and LGX makes a terrible CP and in this drama genre she's an absolute miscast

JOL was talk of the town when it aired in late 2019 and people keep talking about it until now. This one here was definitly a downgrade. Now everyone is about "Reset".

ML and FL need to resolve the problems of their roots/families and find the truth for the final reconciliation. Plus ML being aware of his dad wicked history he has to work now to save his house from an on pending violent karma to protect at least his sisters future. Will he succeed in doing that while facing FL and co's desire for revenge. FL is intelligent and the fact that he loves her makes her an even threatning opponent to him. I think the upcoming episodes are even more exciting in showing how ML and FL will overcome all of those challenges.

Personally it is one of the rare dramas I just don't see anything btw Sml and FL. I don't even see any love triangle.

You know a drama somehow ended up a hit when you see more and more streaming interviews of the leads (here bootilicious Xu)

Cdramas need more heroines like shiZhen : innocent with the appeal of a mature woman with s.x appeal and no baby voice

So this drama is kinda a slow hit. It seems to me the marketing team of the streaming platform did not trust the project at first ? But what makes this drama is the perfect balance of youthful fresh love but mature intensity and s.x appeal between the main couple.

Joy Of Life is Sci-Fi as well and it was one of the biggest hit cdramas of 2019. I guess some cdramas pds are getting better at Sci-Fi genre
