I love how in ep 1 ML demeanor went from pitiful fear-for-his-life "jokester" to absolutely powerful don't-mess-with-me prince once he got into his kingdom. And people asks me why I love ZRY as an actor so much. For me he is like a Tony Leung in his prime when he was still acting in TVB or a Leslie Cheung or Jacky Cheung in their heydays. That golden age Hong Kong actor vibe that is so rare nowadays since the domination of the pop idol look. ZRY is looking younger than in JOL

True ! Personally I don't mind the dark cinematography (I am in the minority that loves it cause I am not too much into the bright one one see in cdramas a lot). I loved Joy Of Life that had the same style. Wished the fighting scenes were better. But the feels that I get from this drama also like the 2005 Handsome sibling's with Dicky Cheung and Nic Tse.
