I love the growth in Jin's character, he still is loyal to Yin and wants to protect her just without romantic affection... but at the same time, he's doing all this with much more calmness and maturity. And talking about growth Jiu is ofc on the top 3 too, we have seen remarkable changes since he entered the palace.
The second thing that I want to point out is that it is this bitch Hua Shu who schemed this plan to blame it all on Yin and get rid of her. They all just found the most fit prey to take the blame for all of this, after all the main purpose was the evil seed. I was actually waiting for this to happen the moment Lan Feng chose to take Yin with him to store the arrow, along with giving Ao Ge a reason to either help or just come closer to Yin (he will surely somehow be involved in resolving this issue) for them to complete the partial story of him and Xiu Yan.
Another thing is that I don't find Yin's "chase" after Jin is annoying, I mean what is love if not fighting for one another, especially since his feelings unwillingly got robbed. How would it feel to know that your lover didn't try to save your relationship and just left? (ofc he would never know since he would just create new affection strings with someone else later)
I like how I just like yesterday thought how the drama deals with multiple "part stories" (ex. the fox clan and the devil, Jin's tragedy, the firefox problem, the peacock clan, the Nether Realm etc) and wondered when they will start to forge these together hahaha and here we're today (ep 17 and 18). It slowly creates a bigger picture from the colors that have been mixed separately <3
Loved this drama, it is loaded with super sweetness but I got bored at epeisode 8. Don’t get me wrong it is lovely drama but at ep8 I got tired as it seems to normal routine with no excitement.
I wonder if you notice ,we made a little community here in this drama that shares are views, woes and dissatisfaction. I've always been (and will be) fan of Bai Lu and Dylan .they are my favorite Variety Show Duo. the past 6 episode for me is not enough to do justice to the previous misery and frustration i endure from the past episode. I although the ML has a good chemistry it wasn't fully manifested in this drama. the writer drag it way too much to the point that the last 6 episode felt worst than a rush hour in the Metro. its a waste of good Actors as they were not given a chance to bring out the best of there'd best as they can only portray what the character given to them. they did there part i have nothing to say about that .the story line and plot was weak and didn't matched up the the artist caliber.. so for me i give this 4 out of 10 not because of the artist but because of the script and writer. i somewhat given an impression that this drama will be at the same level with Love so sweet since its shared an office romance theme and its Bai Lu and Dylan what could possible go wrong right? TRULY EXPECTATION BREED DISSAPPOINTMENT.......😒
Finally, a China drama with great Quality again! I love it so much. Mature love story and no stupid misunderstanding. Incomparable Beauty may have potential too, but not of the same calibre as this one. Great eye candy, great chemistry, very decent acting in this one. And full of Beijing modern culture. Quite tired of all the cheap productions and acting in the whole spate of Cdramas this year (including period ones, that I cannot get excited about). Even Zhao Lu-si hasn't ignited any spark for me, since Dating in The Kitchen - her recent Please Feel at Ease Mr Ling, Hidden Love etc were both ok but somewhat meh (for me).
Looks like our princess won't get her happy ending with her bodyguard after all but it also makes me wonder if his name really is lengbei cause the subtitles just wrote lengbei when northern jing's princess called him gege, lf that's his name wouldn't it be a bit weak that no one suspected his identity guessing that they might know the names of Northern jing's prominent royal members he could be the crown prince
I suspect the reason empress dowager was/is so keen on destroying the Dis could be that maybe the found emperor loved a woman from the Di family but couldn't marry her for political reasons n led him to opt for her but maybe still yearned or compared the empress dowager to the woman n when the emperor died she found her chance to destroy them cause no one was protecting them
It was a nice easy to watch c drama with its own charms...while the whole child bearing situation with no marriage for two years caught me by surprise given the limited boundaries about how far drama plots can go in mainland china, there was an exciting chemistry and the fluff scenes were just icing on the cake!
However this was such an unexplored plot, there could have been so many undiscovered plot lines that could have been exploited in this drama. Having watched so many dramas every time I see such a brilliant storyline limited by a narrow view of creativity my heart just sighs as I start imagining my own extensions to the plot.
I ardently wanted to see how the second leads progressed with their romance. From the time he directly skipped to proposing without even confessing first, man was I hooked even more. They just let this beautiful fire fizzle with any sort of closure.
If I were a director I surely would have not let this drama just be another run-of-the-mill I am a SWAT drama, it truly had the potential of being a plot packed one which would have easily be on trending for weeks and it would have the same amt of warmth.
Love this sweety who is willing to coach him!! its not actually bad to pick up techniques for all player and learn it...lol you will know all their weakness and pluses! charismatic player has his days counted now! guess the main coach will quit and the sweety will take over as a new coach
