Well this ep almost gave me a whole heart-attack but thankfully the emotional ride was worth seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!! Was worried but thankfully he woke up just in time to hear the wonderful news that his daughter is finally here! Can't deny, seeing GX and Chen both survive for each other and 'reunite' in that scene got my eyes all blurry... they way they spoke so sweetly and kept nuzzling at each other, each still weak and healing but determined to be together... they are completely ruining me for all other pairings, I swear. And actual kudos to her dad and Dr friend for being there with her every step of the way that Chen couldn't, they are so blessed to have amazing people in their lives.
Looking forward to the next episodes with our new addition to the family, baby Chuyang (so cute that it means 'the 1st sunlight' in keeping with their names Chen and Xiao put together and having a parallel meaning)... I mean, everything about these two, the journey they've taken so far, and the new path that lies ahead is poetically and thoughtfully well written, and they are magic to watch in brining it to life~ā¤ļøšŖ
I also love how they are so accepting of their realities and capabilities. While he offered to leave his dangerous job to start a family, she point blank told him that his job is part and parcel of who he is. He is well respected as a police Captain, excels and loves what he does. She values who he is, who he has become and accepts him the way he is. On the other hand, he has made no fuss over the fact that she has zero domestic skills but is a sharp and seasoned ventures capitalist. So he cooks, cleans and disassemble their cars while she does big financial numbers with her computer. Twelve years kept them apart and yet their thread of connection remained. And very quickly they got together in Qining to become a couple again. The inevitable mating, consequent pregnancy and marriage registration was a logical conclusion to a love that had been kept at bay. Road home is such an appropriate drama title that captures the frame by frame romance of two classmates from opposite ends of society. What this drama recreates is a waltz of tentative first steps to the rousing build up of passionate music as a couple floats gloriously to the swells of the 3-quarters beat. We could actually end this drama now. I am almost afraid of the next 10 episodes to come.
Aw!!! He just couldnāt leave her alone and pregnant without not getting married! He had to know that she is his wife before he left. Iām just loving this drama. For a change no stupid love squares or triangles and crazy people. Just a real life! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
OK first, the resonance of Chen's voice is so soothing and deep... its like cocaine to my ears. And the rest of him is like cocaine to my eyes. Damn. Second, how is Seven Tan paired with another 'cold man' after Nanting, so hilarious and nostalgic, haha, but he's much different. Still to find out what separated these two, but you can definitely feel that unresolved energy between them... those longing stares say so much. Third, they are taking this 'cold man' trope all the way... look at all that snow! Haven't watched a cdrama filmed in this atmosphere in a long time... gosh, its actually so beautifulš. Lastly, that kid tho ššš... he's hilarious; hope I see more of him for a while, he's just too adorable, haha~

Started watching this show because of the synopsis. It sounded fresh and different to me. And to be honest I am loving it š, it maybe because I am a physics major and I like dramas with a little twist of imaginary science sometimes. Itās a bit of romance and a bit of drama and comedy though itās seems a bit slow and but I like it and I canāt wait for the Main leads to finally get together.
At the end of this drama and I still DISLIKE the FL. She was annoying thoughout the whole drama. I never really felt any true chemistry between the leads. It felt as if they were going through the motions. The ML was so clueless sometimes it was painful, not cute.

I think nothing can top Ten Miles of Peach Blossom for me, but this drama shares the the top spot. This drama breaks the mold, twin sibs can be fantastic, the Heavenly Family can be wholesome, love triangles are not draggy, @#shole parents can redeem themselves, toxic people can see the light and the concept of soulmates are not restricted to your lover but also to friends.
btw I thought Yetan and Qingkui are gonna be born from Ziwu there for a moment, phew...
I'm gonna profess I didn't know any of the MLs but now I adore Li Landi very much and think Cheng Xin Xu extremely attractive but esp LLD, how she carried herself, her expressions were on point and oh when she cried, I cried with her. So young but so talented. Of course everybody is in here but the two stood out the most, as they should. Shout out to He Xuan Lin who played Qingkui, she was the perfect foil for Yetan, so different yet so similar(like a twin!). I love her tone of voice, soothing, calming almost ASMRy.
I also love how creatively they wrote the plot for 3 worlds, 3 loves by giving us Fiery, Heartless and Wenren. Rather than going to the mortal world to undergo trials and tribulations, they gave us the spiritual shards. All side characters had their moments, I love them too just like the MLs.
The VFXs are bewitching, and the set designs are spellbounding. My favourite colour is blue so the sets are resplendent and sublime. The OSTs are sweet and soulful.
I love the writing too. All the things they set up and then they rewarded us with the pay off.
In short, a feel good drama that is brilliant in delivery and execution. I'm gonna wait a few years till I forget most about this drama and watch this again so that I cd experience the thrill again. Yeah im crazy that way. 10/10

My prediction is that YQ will try and fail to save Tan, Tan will realize that her death will be the only way to save everyone, and once peace has finally been restored, two twin flowers will be left. Time will pass, Dongqiu will be flourishing again, both flowers will rebloom and Tan & QK will be back and their husbands will be there to greet them. That better be the happy ending we get!
I can't express anymore how good is the relationship between Yetan and Qingkui...i mean she still guides her from beyond the grave, makes her sane, gives her hope and puts her on the right path... you'll always be goated Qingkui...that's eternal love right there š§”š§”š§”
