Yeah, seems like she’s got a lot of powerful energy of her own which she can’t access cos someone has put a seal on it. So, she was hoping TY or BXS could go into her mind-eye and remove the seal with their spiritual energy or boost what little energy she could access enough to smash through the seal. Looks like TY’s spiritual energy enabled her to boost hers and BXS’s helped her to break through the seal. But now, her inherent energy seems to be opposing the remnants of both TY’s and BXS’s energy that’s still lingering in her and I guess that’s a clue to who she really is (seemed to have been aggravated when TY was channelling his energy into her to wake her up when he found resistance entering her mind eye). Also, seems like BXS is cultivating demonic energy as opposed to both YH and TY’s divine one. And, the seal has been broken but not completely dispersed which is why the rocks are still there unlike TY’s mind-eye that was like a body of roaring water.

This show is not as exciting, but watchable. The ML is a little bland, I hope he will make a turn around like…

I am also warming up to TianYao. Going from being all powerful to someone literally broken in body and spirit and that too at the hands of someone he was in love with and thought was meeting to marry and spend the rest of his life with - man! That’s some awful stuff! And yet, despite dealing with all that, he’s showing his true nature in subtle ways. I adore him for his vulnerability and inherent kindness and compassion. And I feel like YH is the perfect foil for him. She’s headstrong and willful and doesn’t take any BS and makes him think through his prejudices. I love how he incites her sense of responsibility and compassion and she’s so empathetic to his plight and jumps on his mission once she realizes how unfairly he’s been treated. And he’s so appreciative of her! They’re good for each other. And I hope the story keeps this theme intact without introducing any unwanted misunderstandings that they cannot recover from etc. ☺️☺️
Yippeee! Also I am going to start watching from ep 1 to pick up things I know I’ve missed! I went into it with low expectations and so, didn’t actually pay as much attention! I love when this happens!!!!
I rewatched it, too. My guess is that he was on the water trying to break the barrier. And was hurt by that or…
It was bugging me (LOL) so I watched it again and it looks like he was actually comatose and opened his eyes suddenly and started breathing when the power surge hit (his eyes light up). If you notice, he was still bleeding from the very same wounds on his face that he got in his fight with Suying. He’s then completely fine when he sees YH in the market place for the first time. So my guess is he started staying with the grandmother after he woke up as I think there was a significant amount of time from when YH first used her power and being expelled from the sect.
