With an awesome plot like this , It such a regret that they didn't invest more for this drama.
Tbh, promotions and all aside I am enjoying the simple cgi and the low budget costumes etc. It makes them feel real to me, if that makes sense? The high budget dramas look awesome on screen but they take away from the story and characters for me cos I get too mesmerized by the visuals and get pulled out of the flow abruptly when I spot inconsistencies - and if the editing and flow of the story is not up to par, that makes it even worse for me!
Here, I see them and just think “Ah, seems like they’re having a bad hair day.” Or, “Okay, somebody didn’t do their laundry” or some such and it makes it real and fits in with the story and I get immersed and can focus on the characters and their journey. 😀😀

I know right? I was quite surprised to know he approached her first! I am thinking maybe he just wanted to learn to subdue spirits for some reason and she misunderstood his interest as love/affection ???? And she already seems to have a bias against spirits.
