Does makers of penthouse have some animosity with eugene ??
So yeon is doing one short series with them with most of penthouse cast, others penthouse actors are doing one drama with them for sbs

Only Eugene is not doing anything with them after penthouse.... They even chopped off her character in penthouse 3 only after 5 epi evn tho she was one of the main lead

So is there anything going on betn penthouse makers & eugene ??

How it is serious ?? Im not evn critique where ppl will take my opinion into consideration, many will read it & forget it within day plus i hadnt said anything wrong in it

If i just find similarity and wanted to express it through post then whats wrong ??

If you goes to restaurant and ate some dish which u found similar in taste with another dish and after that u said to ur friend or wrote it online that u found this X dish tastes just like another Y dish then are you accusing them (chef) for plagiarism?? No right ??

And what did u say ?? Saying its similar to vincenzo is even more serious than abusing them with abusive words , comeon gimme break ok, have u experience trolling With abusive words ?? Then only u will get how much serious it is when someone abuses others verbally. Comparing & pointing out similarities is nothing in front of it

First u only said that this both setups are diff , one is from milatary and other is from normal worls and then how can u compare budget thats why i explained how vincenzo looks expensive compared to MPD and now you are saying why u bring appearances of fee of actors & art is not abt money and all etc etc

If art is not about money then tell me why did they evn charge such high fees for shows??

Tbh i didnt evn wanted to talk abt art is not about money as i pretty much like artists acting irrespective of their payments but since u urself had mentioned this things thats why i had to point out art is also about money

I used cheap word only for budget not for quality

Cheap means i wanted to say its less costlier than vincenzo nothing else

I didnt said cheap/less costlier bcz of its based in military setup but again you can see that in vincenzo cast was huge, plus 3 main leads song joonki , yeon been, ok taecyeon all are top actors from korea so i guess they definitely gets high fees for their portrayal compared to ahn boh hyun & jo boah

Now again plzz dont misunderstood me that iam saying ahn boh hyun & joboah are not good actors or anything like that

I said they changed characteristics bcz this what i felt in last 2 epi while watching it . So i really dont knw what i said wrong. Had i ever mentioned in my post that they plagarized vincenzo or anything

In vincenzo i also loved jong ki & yeonbeen but ok taecyeon impressed me the most

Btw had u watched the devil judge?? That show also comes under same genre (political thriller) if u hadnt watched then watch it you will enjoy it

They changed some plots like they reversed ML & FL characteristics, they changed bg of show from prosecution law firm to military prosecution so tell me where am i wrong??

I said in vincenzo there are lots of subplots bcz in vincenzo there are lots of & lots of characters from first epi only & they have their own story thats why there are lots of subplots but in MPD characters are limited so i can already sense that show is gonna run on main revenge track of show only with 5 main leads (including positive + negative)

And one more thing is , in my post i had clearly said im not looking down on MPD its just i found some similarities betn 2 hence iam pointing out , so is this wrong to express what you found similar betn 2 shows?? Isnt it public forum where all can express their opinions without hurting other's sentiments (i hadnt hurt anyone's sentiments in my post)

First 2 epi of vincenzo are boring bcz of introductory scenes of tenants & some filler scenes

It gets interesting only after FL's father's death

Plus vincenzo epi length is really long compared to MPD maybe this is also one of reason why u couldnt evn complete 1 epi

Evn im also huge vincenzo fan & right now iam totally like MPD

Its just while watching MPD , i found some similarities betn both vincenzo &MPD & posted it here

But i dont get it why ppl are getting worked up over just bcz i found it similar to vincenzo

Just watched epi 2 and realised that this show is so so much similar to Vincenzo just background is different, plot is changed here & there otherwise its pretty much similar evn characters are also very similar to vincenzo characters

Plot Comparison :
Here in plot FL father was chairman of IM Company , he had named it after FL name Cha Woo-In (reverse of WI is MI) but main FL villain Noh Hwa-Young accused him of false charges & with help of prosecuter Young Moon-Gu she imprisoned him & then killed him in fake accident & after that she took over his company IM & now FL Cha Woo-In is back to get revenge at her & her accomplices

In Vincenzo babel group chairman Jang Han-Seok wanted to destroy geumga plaza for his benefits but FL's father who used to own jipuragi law firm was big obstacle in his path so Jang Han-Seok killed FL's father through Choi Myung-Hee a very cunning prosecuter from Woosang lawfirm and thats when FL vowed to take revenge for her fathers death before that she used to work at Woosang lawfirm which was her dad's jipuragi lawfirm arch rival



Characters Comparison :
Characters of Vincenzo & MPD are pretty much similar

Main Positive Leads :
Here also FL Cha Woo-In wants revenge from villains for her dads death but you can compare her to vincenzo in other aspects as she is very badass character just like vincenzo , she is action star of show along with ML but in vincenzo FL was just plain prosecuter but she was also very badass character in her own way

ML Do Be-Man is here very much like FL ( Hong Cha-Young) of vincenzo , as he accepts bribes plus he is very very much corrupted just like Cha-Young from vincenzo
Right now Here he also works for villains just like Cha-Young
She changes her attitude towards villains & joins hand with vincenzo to fight with villains only after her father's death , and here i think he will also join hands with FL Woo-In after some time

Here You can see that they just reversed characteristics of ML & FL from vincenzo ML/FL characteristics

Main Negative Leads :
Now come to think of villains they are also very much similar to villains of Vincenzo

Here ML villain Noh Tae-Nam is just another copy of ok taecyeon's character Jang Han-Seok , he is very very much similar to him in many ways (Psychopath character)

FL villain Noh Hwa-Young is also very cunning FL villain and exactly similar to vincenzo FL villain Choi Myung- Hee

Just difference Betn both is here also they reversed lil bit characteristics of Main villains, in Vincenzo Jang Han-Seok used to hold more power but her FL villain Noh Hwa-Young holds more power ( she is mother of Noh Tae-Nam)


Secondary Villains :
Now there is one more imp character in both vincenzo & MPD who are very similar to each other are Han Seung-Hyuk who was CEO of Woosang ( at first FL Cha-Young used to work under him) and Young Moon-Goo who is lawyer from Special division prosecuter ( ML Do Be-Man works under him)
These both characters are secondary villains in both show
In Vincenzo there is half brother of Jang Han-Seok named as Jang Han-Seo who appeared as main Villain at a first but later turnout to be victim of his brother , he turned into positive character in the end, similarly there is one friend of Noh Tae-Nam named as Allen who is Kpop star in MPD, but i think he is out & out negative as he raped and made video of victim girl Se-Na


So you can see that there are so so many similarities in both shows , they just changed some plot points & characteristics here & there but still 70% of show is very much similar


Vincenzo is very thickly woven plot as there are so so many subplots in whole show but i think this MPD is just one dimensional one plot show, they just adapted Vincenzo FL revenge plot against villain Babel group
Plus vincenzo looks very much expensive & this one looks lil bit cheap compared to Vincenzo but its ok


Vincenzo main actors like Song Joon-Ki , Ok TaeCyeon , Jeon Yeo-Been are just class apart.

Here also Ahn Boh-Hyun, Kim Woo-Suk, Jo Bo-Ah are doing amazing job and im loving it

But anyway i like such dramas so iam definitely gonna continue it till the end

Till now we got 3 seasons of penthouse in the name of "The Penthouse - War In Life"

So now i wish we should get more seasons in the name of "The Penthouse - War After Life " 🌚🌚🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Plus she has every reason to be evil but she still choses to be good.
Imean from the very early life she faces so much injustice be it from cheon seo jin or her in laws & husband and also she comes from very poor backhround but still she didnt become complete devil like seojin or dantae
I evn understand why dantae become devil but seojin become devil out of her insecurities & jealousy only otherwise she was born with silver spoon in her mouth but that was not case with oh yoon hee

Thats why she is most human character in
whole show

She evn understands pain of seol-ah & helped her that itself proves that she is not cunning& greedy character otherwise she wouldnt have helped seol-ah evn after knowing that if seol-ah somehow backs out then bae rona can get admission in cheong ah arts school

First of all iam not oh yoon hee biased

I love all the three leading ladies equally . They are main face of show & u cant kill one if them in middle of season

If side characters like bae rona & logan lee can comeback then why not oh yoon hee who is one of the main face of show

This show is story of 3 ladies nd each of them represents human/devil/angel side

The show is incomplete evn without one of them

When suryeon was missing from show at that time also i was so dissappointed nd wanted that she should come back ASAP

Then u said why u offened right? U should just look what you said "Ppl needs therapy" so we look like some kind of crazy ppl to u right nd thats why we wants oh yoon hee to comeback

Iknw bring drunk is not excuse but again she repented what she did nd for that matter i dont want her to be dead just bcz she killed min seol ah otherwise every killer in world would have got death as punishment

I dont want her comeback for rona's sake nd also im not shipper of rona & seokhoon
But i liked all three leading ladies of show equally nd admit it that they are main leading ladies so they must get their proper due

But if characters like logan, rona comes back from dead then why not oh yoon hee. At the end of the day she is main face of show along with suryeon & cheon seo jin

I agree for sometime she was greedy nd all but thats how real ppl are.
They are neither angel like suryeon nor devil like seojin
In this show all main 3 ladies represents angel/devil/human

If suryeon represents angel/goddess, seojin represents devil then oh yoon hee represents human side

We all make mistakes and also repents just like oh yoon hee so that doesnt make us unforgivable or some kind of demon

I agree she killed min seol ah but that was her mistake in drunkard state nd she already confessed her crime nd evn goes to jail but suryeon made her comeback for her revenge

She also worked with dantae as she was really afraid that if suryeon knws that she is real killer of her daughter then she will also harm her only beloved daughter bae rona. She evn wanted to take suryeon place but as soon as she saw suryeon is murdered she realised that this is not what she wanted so in the end she goes to jail for fake murder charges as at that time she was blaming herself for min seol ah murder

If you forgot first season then i must remind u that in whole world if someone had cared for min seol ah for very first time then that was none other than oh yoon hee (when she saved her from that restaurant owner).
Evn suryeon also didnt saved seol-ah from her bitch daughter seok-kyung & her husband dantae but oh yoon did. Thats what makes her most human character from whole show

She was never cunning & greedy but she was always very much human unlike other 2 leading ladies

And she already repented for her mistake cum crime & now she didnt deserve to die at all.
By saying above statement u make her look alike some kind of demon (dantae/seojin). She is not evil like them who deserves such death

So before saying all this you should have atleast checked some facts

Here everybody is talking abt suho, ju kyung, and seojun but im worried abt what happened to soojin....she was my most fav character from show .....i really got disappointed when they turned negative post epi 10....i really wanted to stop watching after epi10 bcz soojin turned negative.....but still i was hoping that it will false play but now im watching it bcz i want to knw how they are gonna redeem soojin
