It was actually because they were showing us that she cares for him and is ready to make him her priority which is actually neccessary. The first half was all about her getting over her ex boyfriend and not falling in a rebound relationship with Hyunseung. The second half is all about the Main leads realtionship and how they both are getting in terms of 'Work and Love Balance' which is actually the theme of this drama. And these things you have said of holding hands and all they are going to be there in any drama no matter what the genre of the drama or how original the plot is unless there are no romantic relationships showcased in the drama.

The two situations where he was dumped are very different.
The first breakup he had was because his girlfriend was cheating on him. And he didnt give her a second chance and he wouldnt have given her that regardless of he was in love with Songah or not.
We have to remember that no matter how much he loves Songah, he loves himself the most and thats why he is optimistic and ready to love someone again if given the opportunity and also didnt fall into a pit when he had to suffer from two breakups.
IMO he isn't a pushover, and he is not giving into her easily. It has been only a year after their breakup so obviously he has that lingering feelings for her when he loved her so much.
He didnt give into her when she said sorry, when she said she still likes him, even when she tried to save him from a false fire( he smiled because the situation was kinda funny). He is taking his time to heal over his wounds. He only said to try to win him over which doesnt say that he is forgiving her that easily. We cant deny that he loves her and we cant blame him either or writers for that matter, because his nature was written like that along with his sister's which shows that the one who loves the most gets hurt the most. Their story is very realistic imo.
And no not all people are hard on the people who have hurt them. Some actually try to forgive and mend the realtionship.

Dont worry he didn't. Not even when she said sorry or when she said she still likes him or when she tried to save him from a fire drill. He is cold towards her as we want him to be.

I actually want some more episodes btw. I want the redemption arc for Songah more detailed.

Your points are absolutely right.
But i dont think it was a rebound realtionship.
1) She took literally imo when i counted all the weekends approx 4 months to confess to HyunSeung that she likes him. And when i say she likes him she literally likes him only with a little component of it starting to convert into love when they started dating.
2) Also if it was a rebound one it wouldn't have lasted for 2+ years which is hinted by ep15 preview. Rebound relationships tend to last only for couple of days or months.

What she is doing is obiviously selfish but we cant blame her for that. Because there is no such thing as selfless deed in this world.
She is what she is reserved, career oriented and that is because what her mother suffered at the hands of her father.
What she cleary lacked was to put some efforts in their relatioship which are very subtle and many people wont notice.
Sometimes i do think that if jaeshin was not a cheating scumbag he was a better partner for her. Both were on the same page about what matters the most in their life.
At last, it is actually no ones fault. HyunSeung's and Songah's relationship was clearly unbalanced right from the start so the breakup was bound to happen even if the Europe offer was not in the picture for it was going to exhaust HyunSeung eventually. And we have to remember that no matter how much Hyunseung loves Songah and sacrifices for her he loves himself the most otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to cope up with his first and now this breakup.
What this couple needs is the balance in their relationship with HS leaning away from love a bit and Songah leaning towards it a bit.

May be he didnt. I saw the preview so many times tried to understand it. Where he says that "I thought it would be okay but it wasnt" and she said "i tried too". I have so many theories running in my mind right now. I can 90% percent gurantee that he havent said anything to her. If he would have had i dont think he would be in so much pain just by looking at her. And that pain was not just at the end of ep 14 it can be seen in the preview of epi 15 too. The way he looks at her it literally calls for disappointment and war. So by snapping at her it will make all that teeny weeny feelings he still has for her to finally go away and will set his mind free from her thoughts.

Thats why lash out on her. Tell her how much he suffered and to be honest no matter how much i dont want it to be but Songah would be the only one who can do it.
Also rather than be again in love with someone i want him to love himself right now. Chase his dreams built his career, go on a world tour maybe. Try different food, learn new things.
Next time he loves again i want him to risk his everything only if the said party is also willing to do the same.

I dont think it was a rebound. She took fair amount of time to get over the SML. It may not be seen but it took her approximately 4 months to confess to the ML. And it can be seen from ep 15 preview her realtionship with ML actually lasted for 2+ years whereas, rebound relationships only last for mere months.

Honestly, i want a outburst from him on her. He is all bottling up how he actually felt right from when she decided to leave her till now. Lashing out on her and telling her what she did to him will definitely loosen up his feelings for her. Looking at his eyes at the end of ep 14 i can see their was so much pain but there was a cold gaze too which says that he has built walls around himself now and he is hiding his pain there.

I am not saying they dont deserve ech other. Just how CHS prioritizes SA, sometimes she needs to do that for him too. All this time it was always her needs her insecurities. It is about time that CHS gets that attention from her too. Just because he gives off optimistic energy doesn't mean he didnt have his fair amount of hardships too though they were surely less than what SongAh suffered. At the end if this unbalance remains in long term basis one of them will get exhausted by it and eventually would lead to end of their relation. Which os probably what happened during that span of 2 years. (It is just a prediction)

Okay got your point on why she is like that.
'CHS was willingly giving more without even songah wanting more from him... thats totally on him.' saying this is a total disregard of his feelings. Just like how we respect SongAh's priorities of work HyunSeung's love for her should be respected too.
Even though he loves her for longer time than her he was the one who gave up on her as she was not ready to be romantically involved with her.
After that phase she came up to him saying that she doesnt want him to give up on her and just after some days she herself said she likes him. He never ever forced a relationship on her. So he even if does show more love to her that will be never on him, and at some point she needs to show him same amount of love. I dont want her to act cute or funny but she can be responsible. Only accepting the fact that she is being selfish giving notjing to him will not solve the problem. Either she has to take some actions where she can give him as much as possible or just let him go. Because at this point their relationship is clearly unbalanced.
Also when i say change i want that from CHS too. I want him to start priortizing himself.
Note: me saying this doesnt imply that i am against her going to Europe, she has every right to choose her dreams over her love. I would have done the same thing.

No no i would never want her to reschedule her transfer to Europe. As a career oriented woman myself i would want her to go through it.
What i was saying was she could have requested the BM of TF team to see if she can complete the corrections yhe BM had suggested to be completed from home . I dont mind if that BM would have said no and then SongAh could have to complete her work right then. Her asking her would have showed that as much as he wants to be wither she wants to be with him too.
And i want her to take some efforts because even though he knows what he was getting into and loves her longer than her he was also the one to give up on her as she didnt want to be romantically involved with him. After that phase she was the one who said to dont give up on her and said that she liked him he never forced a relationship on her. So even though her nature is reserved and it is hard for her to come out of her shell as a third party viewer who wants both of them happy especially HS I want her to break her character a bit and take some initiative for their relationship.

Totally agree with about how she is reserved. But as a third party viewer i can clearly see that their relationship is unbalaced where CHS gives more and receives less and the one who wants both of their happiness and especially of CHS( I know I am being biased here) i want her to get out of ger reserved nature a bit for him even though when i know that CHS accepts her for who she is.
I dont think he hates her for their failed relationship but something is clearly wrong about how they broke up. The way his eyes went from shock to cold it indicates that it was more than a simple breakup. Given how HS is he wouldnt have walked away like that.Sorry the word was supposed to be angry not hate.

I am not against her choosing her career over HyunSeung. I totally support her. But still she lacks in putting effort in their realtionship and that doesnt have to be because of the fact that it has been just months that she started to like him she could still try to make effort.
I know she cares for him and worries for him supports him but still it can be seen that she is lacking somewhere maybe it is because of Hyunseung is the one expressing more emotions here. But still she has to make effort not once she tried to set up a date between them. We never saw her asking him his likes and dislikes. She never asks for his hugs never feeds him on her own he has to ask her himself. I know may be that is how she is but to sustain a realtionship we need to express more through our actions and words where she lakcs a bit.
That 2 year long distance relationship surely both may have made efforts but still seeing how HyunSeung hates her now it was not a simple breakup something major could have happened for him to not even cross her paths. And i think it was clearly a mistake from SongAh's side.

I am not against her going to Europe. But it is obivious that she is lacking to put efforts in their relationship.
Seeing ep 14 it makes much clearer that she knows that she is being selfish and he is paying the price for it and even accepts that fact but she doesnt make efforte to correct her mistake.
And it can be seen on many instances right from when they are in a realtionship but especially in the ep14.
1) when she was called urgently for some work during their date. She could have atleast tried to ask the BM to excuse her from her work but she didnt accepting the excuse or not by the BM was whole another thing but she didnt took that effort.
2) when he called her to talk about his worries even though she was busy she could have excused herself for few minutes or atleast call him back after her work was over but she did none of that.
3) when she got to know about the problem he faced at work and asked him about it during their dinner date she accepted she was being selfish but merely doing that is not okay. She should have reassured him that he should have shared it even though she was busy and that he too doesnt need to worry about her now and focus on himself more but that didnt happen.

She worries about him, cares for him but sometimes it needs to be shown through actions and words to sustain a relationship, merely accepting the fact that she is being selfish doesnt mean that she is being less guilty.
About HyunSeung's love for Songah. I do feel that somewhat it is his fault too but just as we are accepting the fact that SongAh is reserved we have to accept that when he loves he gives his everything. But i do feel that for once he should stop thinking about her and think about his happiness and dreams first.
On the whole both need to make changes in their personalities.
