I chose this drama because of the comedy
genre but to be honest it disappointed me a
bit on that front. The comedy scenes were
good but they kind of died off after the first
few episodes. The drama also had a mystery
in it (which I liked) but after the first half, it
was almost pure romance genre mixed with
only a few comedy scenes.

I loved both the main leads! Woo Yeo was so
cute when he got all flustered and his shy
smiles and blushing were adorable! I liked
Dam's personality, especially how she wasn't
afraid to say what she thinks, and how she
didn't care of rumors or what other people
think of her. Jae Jin and Hye Sun were to die
for, I loved them both as separate characters
and a couple they were so swoon-worthy! 🥺

The only thing bugging me was the ending.
The whole last episode was rushed a lot,
Woo Yeo disappearing, Hye Sun having her
blue bead (that felt like a deus ex machina
given the fact that we have never seen nor
heard about it before), Jae Jin getting the
army letter... What I hated the most was
making two new couples in the last fifteen
minutes – Soo Kyeong & Seok, and Dan &
Seo Woo (Seon Woo's sister), that felt so
much rushed! Yes, they had some chemistry
together and some scenes in the episodes
beforehand but still! It could at least have
been established in the previous episodes
instead of the last one with no room to grow
properly and leaving almost zero impact.

My final rating for this k-drama is 8/10.

Let me just tell that although the zombies were really scary, I got quite used to them after seeing them for twelve episodes but what really freaked me out was the zombie deer. I kid you not I couldn't even watch the scenes where it was in, I just skipped them because it was so eerie and creepy.

I don't want to spoil anything so long story short I didn't expect Ashin to be an antihero in a way. But I totally loved her girlboss moments. 😌

One thing that was really confusing to me were all the tribes and the names of them and the different provinces, I could not remember them although they were narrated and explained in the beginning.

I give the rating 8.5/10.

Immediately after finishing the first season I started the second one. 😁 I just couldn't wait to find out what happened and whether they will be able to stop the zombies or even potentially cure them.

The last two episodes were even better than the rest, especially the last fifteen minutes of episode six, that really kept me on the edge of
my seat. The explanation for the zombie outbreak was also good.

But ahh another cliffhanger! But now I'm really excited to watch the spinoff movie Ashin of the North, it will certainly be great to have another strong female lead in the franchise!

I liked the second season even better so I give the rating 9/10.

I heard a lot of praise about this drama so one day I just randomly decided to watch despite that I can't watch horror.

This drama turned out to be really great and worth all the hype. The fast zombies were definitely scary and I have to praise the make-up and costume team for doing such a great job with these. I'm a bit sad that there were only two major female roles in the drama (Seo Bi and the Queen). I know that it's a historical but still I would like to see more women in the drama.

Overall my rating for the first season is 8.5/10.

I wish it was longer! I loved the episodic format of this drama and the stories of each of the guests, who came to the witch's diner. The drama has spooky and almost Halloween-y vibes so I feel like it would be better to watch it in October maybe to fully get into the mood lol. Still it was enjoyable to me.

The OST was good, especially the ending song with the eerie vibes. Out of the characters I liked the female lead Jin the most and the witch of course (I'm a sucker for milfs, don't blame me 😌). That reminds me of the outfits, they were great and sooo fashionable as well, they reminded me of Hotel del Luna a lot.

Btw the male lead here is played by the same
actor, who played Do Hyun in Nevertheless so if liked him there, you can check this drama out! There are also two other actors from Nevertheless as well.

I give the rating 8.5/10 to this drama. Enjoyable but some things could have been executed better.

The story of the movie was well thought of and done in a really great way. Maybe it's because I'm still new to the thriller and mystery genre so I'm not able to guess the plot twists and end up being on the edge of my seat all the time, enjoying every second. This movie also featured one of the biggest and most unpredictable plot twists, which I have ever seen.

The cast did a great job at playing the characters, especially the main female lead and also the husband.

I don't remember much about the OST but the background music did an amazing job during the intense and thriller scenes.

I scored the rewatch value so low for two reasons. 1) I rarely rewatch stuff. 2) Once you know the big twist, the movie wouldn't hit that hard on you. However you can still rewatch it and enjoy finding out all the smaller details and hidden meanings in it.

This drama is a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing melodrama that will also teach you about Korean history through the eyes of ordinary people and soldiers. Before starting it I had no idea what Gwangju uprising is so I am happy that I was able to learn more about it while watching and enjoying the drama itself.

All the four main characters were easy to love, I especially loved how they were putting the happiness of their friends and siblings before their own and just how genuinely selfless they all were. The actors did really a great job portraying these characters, especially but not entirely in the emotional scenes.

This drama also had some comedy scenes and although there were not many of them, they felt really funny and the humour was heartwarming. The drama itself was nicely paced and I think that the 12 episodes were enough and that it did not need to be longer as the story was told in a good way.

This drama was just wow!

I swear that there was never a boring part.
The story was always going forward and
progressing. All the characters were
dimensional and not just white and black,
they can't be easily divided into heroes and
villains as almost everyone in this drama has
done evil deeds but for good purposes from
the characters' perspectives. Penthouse will really make you question how much evil are people capable of when they have the money and most importantly the power.

After finishing an episode I was always
thrilled to start a new one. Luckily because of
the summer holidays I was able to binge
watch as much as I desired.

And although my favourite character
deserved better (😭😭) this was such a wild
ride in the best way possible so it earned
itself the highest rating from me: 10/10.

The first thing that caught my attention about this j-drama was the poster because it's really aesthetic. I also like female centered plots and even the synopsis seemed interesting so I decided to give this drama a try despite me rarely liking Japanese dramas.
And it was a pleasant surprise! The characters seemed realistic and I like how each of the girls had enough space in the drama and that we got to know some things about each of them. My favourite one would be definitely Momo, I really liked her story.
The opening credit scenes featured the characters dancing to a really catchy song. Though I rarely like j-dramas, I always like the OSTs. :D
The main story had 8 episodes but on Viki you will find that the drama actually has 10 episodes in total as the last two ones are special episodes providing backstory for the two main male characters: Izumi and Milo-sensei. I really liked Izumi's story, it showed really well how people can change during their highschool lives.
Overall it was a realistic slice of life drama that made you think deep about some topics mentioned. It explored the coming out of age genre very well.

This small web series was really an enjoyable watch! I have experienced a various range of emotions while watching this drama – I've smiled, laughed, and cried as well.
My favourite character would definitely be the cat Bok Gil. The actress who voiced her did such an amazing job, I loved how the cat was humming and how sassy she was but she still loved her owner very much.
The OST was honestly so nice for a web drama and it suited it a lot.
Ending was bittersweet but it was a nice touch after the mostly happy plot.
Overall it was a really enjoyable watch! I recommend it if you want to watch something short and if you like a slice of life genre or if you're a cat lover. :3

First of all I would like to state that I haven't seen the original anime or read the manga. I randomly saw an ad for this movie on Netflix and I liked the name and settings so that's why I decided to watch this.
The story was very unique in my opinion and I liked the main male character and also the chief of police. Also the trio of villains was interesting (Envy, Gluttony, and Lust) with Lust being my favourite.
I can't remember much about the OST so it was probably nothing memorable.
The setting was really nice! I love the aesthetics of the town and the steampunk vibes I got from it.
It was a good movie though I've never felt the urge to rewatch it and it wasn't enough to pique my interest to watch and read the original FA.

This drama was just... wow! It was an enjoyable watch with an unique storyline and fast pace so I basically binge watched all the six episodes in two days in-between my school work and online lessons.
The characters were easy to like and each of them were interesting in their own way. I especially liked Hye Min and I was very surprised when she got together with the other female student Radi! It was nice that there was the lesbian relationship mentioned.
The CGI of jellies was also very nice and realistic looking.
I'm honestly hoping for a second season since this one left too many unanswered questions, especially with the stolen pillows, the geese, the floating whale, and Radi's ghost seeing mum.

This was such a beautiful and perfect movie and it was really healing for my soul. There's not any storyline at all but that doesn't mean that it's boring or draggy. It made me want to live in a small village, grow my owns crops and to make delicious meals our of them! :3
This masterpiece was shot so beautifully and the cinematography was just amazing. The director did such a wonderful job!
The actors as well! Their characters were all unique in their own ways. The doggo was also very cute. uwu
If you have two hours to spare go watch this movie. It will heal your soul and I'm sure you're going to like it.

This bite sized drama should definitely be on your watch list! It is short and sweet though the story does not feel rushed at all. It could have been a movie in my opinion but it doesn't matter that much. The romance was very cute and sweet but my favourite moments were definitely the comedy scenes! xD I was laughing or at least chuckling at many of them – my most favourite one would definitely be the one with riding a horse to the tune of Gangnam Style. :D The ending was bittersweet but it suited the drama very well. More people should definitely know about this little drama. :3

Honestly I don't really understand the really low rating here on MDL (currently it has 7.6 only). It's not THAT bad . It definitely isn't the best drama out there but for me it still had more pros than cons, thus my fairly high rating of 9 stars for this k-drama.

The story first: the setting was very unique and I got to learn a lot of things about the work of people in meteorological agency. It was interesting to see how much it was affecting all the people even by just changing the coming of the rainy season for a few days. I came to like the supporting characters working there a lot, they all had their own hardships and struggles that made interesting sub-plots that were entertaining to watch.

I just LOVE Park Min Young so I just might be a bit biased towards all her dramas but she nailed the role as always. Other actors did a great job too!
Out of the characters I have a very mixed feelings towards the SML because although he did many questionable things and sometimes he was just borderline obsessive with his ex-fiancee, at the end he got better and became a better husband and future father.
My favourite side couple was definitely FL's sister and the guy from meteorological agency, they were just so cute together! And her books about the crocodile and penquin :3 I love how he was so supportive of her

The music I really liked, especially the one OST that was just so bubbly and cheerful that it always put a smile on my face.

Overall, a 9* drama for me. A perfect drama to slowly watch with a hot cup of delicious tea to unwind after a stressfull day .
