In the novel she’s a modern girl that got transported into ancient time. She doesn’t learn martial arts. She’s more interested in inventions and architecture.

She was able to get engage three times cause her previous ones will be broken. I can’t tell you how or why since that’s a spoiler and take away from the drama. But she is a rare case since not many girls can have so many proposal after a fail one lol

So far the drama seems to be 90% true to the novel I hope they don’t kill any of Shao Shang family member lol.

In the novel no one in her family dies.

It’s nice that you reveal your opinions but the writer kept to the original of the novel. Which as a novel reader and I actually like this drama. First off family mistreating their own kind is actually common even in modern day times. Wu lei character is perfect fine as his role in the novel is supposed to cold hearted. If you prefer the writer to deviate from the original plot then I suggest you don’t watch this adaptation. Because it’ll be as similar as possible to the novel.

His novel is call frost love! And they’re doing a drama for his story after hidden love.

The drama is called a Wuxia romance. The writer changed HFX character from the novel to established his relationship with the female lead. He lost his inner strength not because of the female lead but because he also wanted to save the people involved. The house of jade was under arrest and HFX character in the drama shows that he cares about people. Even if it’s not her sector being in jailed he would’ve done the same cause he knew he couldn’t do other wise. Huang chao and HFX character is supposed to show the difference in rulers. HC lacks compassion with empathy while HFX have that. BFX is obviously smart enough to hold her ground but she is not as conniving as HFX. Like he mention before he feels like their path is always going to be intertwined and she became his life purpose. Therefore I don’t find the FL as weak. But it’s the writer who made the ML become a romanticized character which downplays the FL character as an individual.

Well idk I feel like BFX helped him a lot in the later episodes. She taught him how to win over his army hearts. She helped him when he lost his inner force. She rescue him from the sinking ship. Her sector being caught in prison is because of his dad. So I wouldn’t say the Fl cause him trouble. If you watch the drama further you can see both characters are balance and needs one another. Each for different reason

Most of the hate comments about lusi is relating to her looks. Saying she’s not pretty enough. I thought we watch dramas for acting as well not just looks but I find lusi very pretty.

There’s no fan war for blue whisper because jialun is married and have a kid lol. But yeah Tencent is avoiding promoting this cp

There’s a discussion post with the link of the novel. The novel and drama are different. I don’t think it’ll drag since it’s only a 40 episode drama.

The drama is very good and I love the pacing. Also finally some amazing martial arts fight sequences. I’m just sad because I feel like Tencent is very lackluster in promoting the drama main leads chemistry/ cp. The leaked Reuters is so much sweeter than the bts. Not to mention we haven’t seen any mention of main leads together for an interview yet. No wonder on weibo a lot of fans are saying Tencent is wasting these two strong chemistry.

There’s a few heartache in the novel. So just be prepared some tissues. But in the end we will have a HE.

I think you have to also take into context the difference in drama genre. His drama with Reba is more contemporary romance so there’s more romantic scenes. While his drama with lusi is a wuxia so there will be more than just romance. I personally don’t see there’s any age gap chemistry differences lol just watching the reuters and bts yang yang is playful in general. I like lusi and yang yang chemistry maybe because I’m all for costume drama angst and romance.

Dubs are made because of external noises that they can control. Most of QSTX scenes are done outside so the audio can be choppy. Both YY and lusi are busy after QSTX so they didn’t have time to dub their own voices.

Then what about other drama pairings with actor and actresses of 10 years age gap? You’re judging a drama about the actors and actresses age gap. You watched Mr. sunshine.
