Mind you 42 episodes and so much time and emotions invested in to this, for what? I don't exactly regret watching it because Jianing is my woman crush wednesday I really like her, but that's just me being biased, kinda. And I dislike Xiaoshan as much as a I like Jianing. Such a poorly written character FOR A LEAD.
Also your welcome. I can't relate to people who are calling it cute because Xiaoshan has a daughter. If I had to see the story of how an exceptional lady gets together with the pitiful single father with a tragic past raising a daughter all by himself, finally filling in the gap and shit, I would have choosen a rom-com instead.
I started this drama to possibly witness the love story of two smart researchers and now it's suddenly turn into a love story between a baddass female lead and a pathetic single dad. Went from 100 to 0 real fast.
