Honestly Yang Yang's acting in this drama genuinely caught me off guard when did he learn how to make those expressions. The subtle eye brow shifts, the micro expressions using his eyes, I AM ALL FOR IT. Yu tu is not very expressive he has his own walls around him. He'll say something but his eyes would say something else and to be able to express with your eyes for us to understand how he's actually feeling, Yang Yang, mah boi :))))

Ahhhh I see. And for me I like characters that have a stand, good or bad. They make decisions and they own up to it. One major thing that disappointed was when Xiao shan broke up with Jianing to 'protect' her and in the end just withdrew from the mission. What was the point of it all then he gave up his relationship as well as his mission and then he wanted things back. After everything he's done. I swear he better start redeeming himself i stil have a soft spot for him.

Well yes props to LYX for doing such a fine job though I realized initially I fell for this character not because of the character but because LYX acted too well, especially the emotional breakdown scenes.
See Jianing really does actively protect what matters to her, be it her family, her work or Xiao shan. But Xiao Shan hasn't been that active in protecting he's always escaping situations and coming up with excuses. Now that Wen Zhao has entered the picture I believe he'll have no choice but to finally step up. Anyways he's still hiding stuff from her when will he start being honest to her aaaahhhhh
Honestly I'm a little disappointed with Xiao Shan's character I liked him so much I used to call him best boy but he turned out to be not as smart as I initially thought he was. He may be intelligent but he just isn't that smart. Somewhere along the series he became quiet pathetic. My man doesn't even have a stand and everything he's doing now seems sus to me even when he's probably being genuine. Quiet the opposite of Jianing though, everything about her character is soo well written, so absolutely satisfying even the flaws she has.

Imagine having to hire actors who speak Slovak, hiring translators who speak Slovak as well as Chinese and English.
