She's good π and haters gonna hate anyway. I knew her from the longest promise which I find it underrated but I really loved the drama and her character. I'm really enjoying "a splendid match" also, I will give her others drama a shot for sure!

πππ€ it's way more in that drama believe me. The only drama that I loved her in it is "love game in eastern fantasy".For the Rise of Ning, I think I'll start it and have my own opinion π

Like the one with Esther Yu lately, I was wairing for it and when I started it and really enjoyed the first episodes but then it was so cringe π¬ I couldn't shake the fact that he was his brother even before she was born and lived as siblings for years despite the distance... and all of a sudden things changed for what because she's cute and that he's got?! it was way against my morals so I stopped watching and I dont regret it though.
So is this one cringe or it was done the right way please?
I do hope this drama will have a higher rating soon, it is such a relatable story delivered by a strong cast,…
Is the rise of Ning worth it? From what I've seen from the comments it's too slow paced and she won't know that they are not siblings till the very last episodes. And this kinda turned me off like I don't like watching shows that romanticize invests.
I want to like this but i cant get over the timeline flaws. Theyre supposed to be in the 90s in china. The cars,…
Hi Tiffany, I donβt think itβs a timeline mistake. The FL doesnβt go back in time, she enters an alternate dimension set in 1999. So the modern elements are likely intentional rather than historical inaccuracies.
That hesitation on his part was obviously completely intentional. At some point it even feels kind of fake, in…
I really enjoyed twenty one twenty five but I hated the ending even though it can be realistic. I couldn't get over her not ending up with him so I've never re-watched it haha. It was nice talking to you. Take care!

I see what you are trying to say. Please put the spoiler tag on.
I've watched the drama 3 times. The first time I also felt sorry for Jung Huan despite not routing for anyone tbh I liked them both.
In my 2nd watch I paid attention to the adult version more and I realized that it was taeki. He smokes, doesn't get cold, was loved by many girls and they commented together her photo with Jung Huan, ah also he couldn't address her brother as younger than them for years haha. The only think that can be tricky is his shown personality and the big hint that it was Taeki is the interview in itself... I really got to know why Junh Huan wasn'tthe end game. mainly because of his hesitatan...
By my 3rd watch I understood that it wasn't about who liked her, who will fight for her or at the very least admit his feelings proudly. But most importantly about what she wanted and who she likes. It was shown in the scene when she told the friend with glasses (the funny one) why nobody likes her and that she started to feel unworthy and he told her why does she have an opinion about everything but not about men. why she's waiting to be loved or picked by someone and that she can also like someone ... (it was the scene of disappointment after the pink shirt gift incident).
I felt sorry for Jung Huan at first but then I understood the message of the writers. If you really like something or someone go for it (not necessarily chase men as women) but don't hesitate. It was a good message besides all the good other messages of the show.
It's my favorite Korean drama although I'm not really a slice of life genre. It was nostalgic, funny, with a good writing and a good cast. I find Korean dramas are mostly about materialistic things and people especially in the recent years. They've grown so westernized to the point that I don't relate to their characters anymore.

It wasn't only due to his hesitation but due to her choice. At first she only liked Sun Woo because her friends told her that he likes her and for the idea of it. She felt nothing for Jung Huan until her friends told her that he likes her once again. She moved on too quickly from him after seeing his brother wearing what she thought was her gift. She didn't look for an explanation nor felt heartbroken but was disappointed. Disappointed not because she didn't like him but the idea of being liked.
With Taeki in the other hand, she cared for him and showed interest since episode 1. She treated him differently and was different when she's with him. She liked him the most out of all of them. Then she liked him as a man as she grew to know him more starting from the china trip. She saw him as a man, as an adult and she liked him not because he liked her but because she wanted to.
I don't agree with you, it wasn't unfair and there's nothing wrong with the script. Taeki loved her and wasn't afraid to acknowledge it. Jung Huan when he knew about Taeki's feelings he's grown colder but didn't push her to Taeki. Because Taeki didn't chase her it was her who was looking after him... why? because she liked him before even realizing it.
Rewatching some scenes and I'm pretty sure In Kang did not take his own life. I just canβt see him leaving his…
I don't agree with you. Her boyfriend was depressed and alcoholic before she enters his life. He did saw on her the saver, the lover because he hated himself, the escape.. She pulled him out from depression. He was hanging because of his grandma.
The focus of the isn't his boyfriend but her that's why the director didnt show us all the details about him. He sad thanks twice to the ceo of his agency and that was the sifn of him ending his life. He did get rid of all the substances for his public image I guess ..
do they ever physically meet in the same timeline??? cuz reading the synopsis it feels like it's going to be leads…
The main leads belong to the same timeline. The second leads however belongs to another hence the main leads and second main leads don't meet. It's not a time travel drama. It's people from 2 timelines writhing to each other. the first timeline is 2025 or 2026 I don't quite remember and the second timeline is 1991.
I'm really enjoying "a splendid match" also, I will give her others drama a shot for sure!

I still didn't watch the show so I can't really answer you but for what I know it's about 3 sisters so what Reply 1988 would do with it π€
I couldn't get over her not ending up with him so I've never re-watched it haha.
