started well but became a train reck like 1/4th way in, I kept watching hoping it would get better but by the…
I don't like Kim seo hyun acting also. she's always portraying her characters the same way with the same looks also. it's not moving or make you feel her characters.. as of the chemistry with Bogum it's non existent. I didn't like the pairing also, she looks better with the the actor portraying her ex boyfriend. It would have been better in terms of the story to pair her with her ex character and make Bogum character single or interested in another character at last.
I don't think there was ever any coming back for him as a character after he attempted to rape Mudan in part 1.
Thank you for your enlightening comments.
I'm still wondering why I did pity him or the princess maybe I forget easily or maybe I was just hoping for their characters to grow to see that what they were chasing isn't the real deal.

I kinda hated the character in the last episodes and wanted him to be sentenced to death by the emperor. But not in the last episode when he pleaded for his wife and chose her, it was touching. They are alike somehow.
The actor did a good job throughout the show, it was multidimensional for me and even made it realistic somehow. I don't know if Wang Duo would have done better (I haven't seen any of his dramas I believe) but Mile did a good job. His character isn't a vilain but someone who is too proud, self-centered, ambitious, thick headed and spoiled, he wanted some sort of recognition from Mudan that's why he was obsessed with her. He was ambitious but didn't dare to live in hardship but did surrender to power and pression or I might say even oppression. He was frustrated also because at the beginning of the drama and from an outsider view, he was the perfect husband for Mudan, an officer, an noble from a well known family, handsome and has a bright future. plus he couldn't understand why She would choose to be with a corrupted and womanizer official.
The choices and understanding of life were wrong for the character. How's Miles did the right choice picking and getting this role and did his best to convey all this layers and depth of the character.
I like it when he told his wife that he hated his father. Indeed I was waiting for the day that he will stand for himself. He did the right thing by the end haha
Well I came to tell you that I'm done watching ep8 and yes I want to know where the show is going and the idea of the 2 of them in one body is cool actually. I guess I'm giving it a chance. thanks
I see. The thing is the show doesn't make me laugh nor make my heart flutter and couldn't keep me intrigued. the first episodes were good, I enjoyed the watch but the 7th ep gave me a headache with the ML running around and the FL chasing him with the same skinship thing over and over again. It gave me the vibe of lovely runner which went downhill with no solid and clear direction. I dropped it midway also despite the fun that I had watching the first episodes.
So head over heals is meant to be lighthearted and playful but not anymore for me. It doesn't entertain me
Yep I am. Head Over Heels had heart, it had fluff, it had potential. But somewhere along the way, the narrative got dizzy from spinning in too many directions and forgot where it was headed.
The drama started good but Ep7 was a mess so I'm dropping it. As a lot of other kdramas, they start good and then nothing decent and intriguing to watch. Their screen writers have to improve!
How lucky I am to be working from home on Monday. I can watch the 7th ep.
Lovely runner was a mess midway. from past to the present 1nd vice versa, I dropped it cause it got repetitive although I've laughed so much in first 2 episodes. I'm gonna trust the comments and start this one. I hope that I won't get disappointed
Yeah, it came out of nowhere. I wonder how they will resolve this.
Me too! luckily the future episodes will be way better I guess from the trailer. I just hope that they have time to unfold them and not rush the ending
