This show is so overrated 🙄 like 8.5 seriously 😂? My Journey to You had potential, but it fell flat in almost every way. The directing felt inconsistent, the music didn’t stand out, and the main leads were frustratingly bland. I ended up skipping most of their scenes. The second couple was the only thing that kept me watching, but even their storyline wasn’t properly developed. The humor didn’t land, and the ending felt incomplete. Beautiful costumes can’t save a story that goes nowhere.
Why the Hell you guys has to Depend on Dramas to establish your religious sentiment?? If you r that Islamic or…
It's not about "Depending on Dramas to establish a religious sentiment", it’s about self-respect and cultural integrity. When a show turns someone’s identity, values, or beliefs into the punchline of a joke, it’s not entertainment --> it’s disrespect disguised as humor.
A person who willingly allows their culture or faith to be ridiculed for the sake of amusement isn’t just undermining themselves, they’re also diminishing the dignity of the community they represent.
What makes this even more concerning is that such dramas often attract young audiences, who are still forming their perceptions of the world. Repeated exposure to this kind of mockery can distort their understanding of certain groups, normalize disrespect, and quietly reshape their beliefs and biases.
why do we have to boycott genie? is there something controversial about this scriptwriter?
Exactly like they still suffer from being called Chinese by the rest of the world but still prefer treat some of the other ethnicities the same way 🤮

It's because of the trailer and the use of ther name "Iblis" for the Genie or the ML. They've offended the Muslim population by using this name and a bunch of cultures because of the confusion and lack of research 🙄 which make the writers accountable
I was so excited about the show and has highly expectations but now I will boycott it. Are they running out of names, of stories. It's disrespectful. Why won't they disrespect Muslims? when They think are ethnically superior haha such an inferiority complex that they got from being disrespected for decades from the west. Ignorants.
What's wrong with Jin?🤔 Even more I have no idea what's this .... storm ab Iblis🫣
It's not plausible to use *jin* either and let's not romanticize such unnatural pairing please. It's as if the ML's name is *human*, it makes no sense.
As a Muslim I am not offended. I am old enough to know the difference from fiction and reality. It’s really…
TV shows can impact a whole generation hence teenagers will be watching. I am not saying there's more serious problems in the world but people must not take ideas that are promoted bu such shows lightly
I kinda like the character of Chu he's cunning and righteous at the same time and I really want to know how he will end up. I enjoy his scenes because they give context to the reason behind his actions.
started well but became a train reck like 1/4th way in, I kept watching hoping it would get better but by the…
I don't like Kim seo hyun acting also. she's always portraying her characters the same way with the same looks also. it's not moving or make you feel her characters.. as of the chemistry with Bogum it's non existent. I didn't like the pairing also, she looks better with the the actor portraying her ex boyfriend. It would have been better in terms of the story to pair her with her ex character and make Bogum character single or interested in another character at last.
I don't think there was ever any coming back for him as a character after he attempted to rape Mudan in part 1.
Thank you for your enlightening comments.
I'm still wondering why I did pity him or the princess maybe I forget easily or maybe I was just hoping for their characters to grow to see that what they were chasing isn't the real deal.

I kinda hated the character in the last episodes and wanted him to be sentenced to death by the emperor. But not in the last episode when he pleaded for his wife and chose her, it was touching. They are alike somehow.
The actor did a good job throughout the show, it was multidimensional for me and even made it realistic somehow. I don't know if Wang Duo would have done better (I haven't seen any of his dramas I believe) but Mile did a good job. His character isn't a vilain but someone who is too proud, self-centered, ambitious, thick headed and spoiled, he wanted some sort of recognition from Mudan that's why he was obsessed with her. He was ambitious but didn't dare to live in hardship but did surrender to power and pression or I might say even oppression. He was frustrated also because at the beginning of the drama and from an outsider view, he was the perfect husband for Mudan, an officer, an noble from a well known family, handsome and has a bright future. plus he couldn't understand why She would choose to be with a corrupted and womanizer official.
The choices and understanding of life were wrong for the character. How's Miles did the right choice picking and getting this role and did his best to convey all this layers and depth of the character.
I like it when he told his wife that he hated his father. Indeed I was waiting for the day that he will stand for himself. He did the right thing by the end haha
Well I came to tell you that I'm done watching ep8 and yes I want to know where the show is going and the idea of the 2 of them in one body is cool actually. I guess I'm giving it a chance. thanks

#boycott Genie, make a wish
