I see. The thing is the show doesn't make me laugh nor make my heart flutter and couldn't keep me intrigued. the first episodes were good, I enjoyed the watch but the 7th ep gave me a headache with the ML running around and the FL chasing him with the same skinship thing over and over again. It gave me the vibe of lovely runner which went downhill with no solid and clear direction. I dropped it midway also despite the fun that I had watching the first episodes.

So head over heals is meant to be lighthearted and playful but not anymore for me. It doesn't entertain me

Yep I am.
Head Over Heels had heart, it had fluff, it had potential. But somewhere along the way, the narrative got dizzy from spinning in too many directions and forgot where it was headed.

The drama started good but Ep7 was a mess so I'm dropping it. As a lot of other kdramas, they start good and then nothing decent and intriguing to watch. Their screen writers have to improve!

Lovely runner was a mess midway. from past to the present 1nd vice versa, I dropped it cause it got repetitive although I've laughed so much in first 2 episodes.
I'm gonna trust the comments and start this one. I hope that I won't get disappointed

Me too! luckily the future episodes will be way better I guess from the trailer. I just hope that they have time to unfold them and not rush the ending

The actor did good job portraying Mudan ex husband. He's one of the best character in the show, he has a dimensional traits and personality

I love this drama so much especially season 1. I'm ok with the repetitive plot as I love the show and all the characters but the E12 plot was unnecessary, I agree with the other comments. Like how it can serve the main plot?

I've seen Esther in Love Between Fairy and Devil and I even gave her another chance in Love Game in Eastern Fantasy and it's a big no for me. I don't like her acting, she's always doing the baby voice to make herself look cute? innocent? or whatever and it overshadowed all what she should convey as personality or emotions of the character to the viewers.
She has a bad acting. Younger audience might like her but certainly not because of her outstanding acting haha

I find Tan Tai Ji different from Xoand Liu. Tan Tai Jin wanted to be loved, to be respected whereas Xiang Liu wanted to die for a cause that he believes in.
I've never came across such character before and after love you forever. I don't want to either haha I've been sad for days after the end of the drama 🙃

I know that my comment is late haha but I want to answer since I've watched both dramas and I disagree with the previous answers.
Wei wu ji here reminded me of FBB (and Xiang Liu in some episodes) of lost you forever in the early episodes when he showed up quite often at the door of the FL asking her to come with to an interesting place to cheer her up.
In the late episodes of this drama Mo Xun reminded me of Xiang Liu by helping get the happiness and the family that she wished for with her chosen man. Although it reminded me of Xiang Liu, it was done better by Xiang Liu in lost you forever the selfless lover who wanted the FL to live carefree and have a family of her own. I think mostly because Mo Xun did miss the chance twice to accept the FL feelings because of his own insecurities and traumas whereas with Xiang Liu it was for other reasons and him in the other hand he made sure to not let the FL fall for him.

Qin Xiang envied Xiao Yue’s carefree spirit, her luminous personality, and above all her ability to love and be deeply loved in return. Yet, to Xiao Yue, Qin Xiang was simply a friend. she remained blissfully unaware of the envy, never having experienced such feelings herself toward anyone.

I felt the same way as well, it doesn't feel good watching nor there's suspens. I dropped it by ep 9 and couldn't go any further especially with all the tragedy coming ahead!
