Sounds like she did. And the BFF is still going to be pregnant with twins and she signed a loan agreement under her name. Although how she is going to work with twins in China I don't know. I mean maternity leave is bad. The guy kicked her out so doubt she can sue for child support. Especially since the marriage cert is fake. How can you fake it though when its in an official government office.
Luckily Ive been distracted by "Got a crush on you." I have just marathoned it in 3 days. Kitschy and cheesy, I have even gasped with mortified 2nd hand embarrassment but heck at least it did a romance drama.
So she is in early to mid 20s with her being a lawyer.
How does she not know if she likes a man? I know someone can have a low self- esteem. I don't think she does. But a woman in her 20s should at least have an inkling if she likes a guy.
She really dismisses the idea that the boss can like her. We know based on spoilers that they get together in episode 22. However there isn't any inkling she is or has a liking for the boss.
How can I buy her liking him in ep 22 when she's like that in episodes 20 and 21?
I enjoyed ep 20 and 21 today. First off I am purposely not discussing the BFF's fake marriage.
What I am going to comment on is the 2nd hand embarrassment watching the ML was a massive thing today. I was laughing when he was talking to his parents. Yeah I am all for him being taken down a peg or two and him confessing instead. They will get together in ep 22 right? I will wait for it.
The Cheng Xi storyline was a bit more serious than I thought. He is married right? Then the whole stalking and DV and assault was something I wasn't expecting .
The slow official subs are killing me. I am on ep 9 with subs but ep 21 raw
I thought that was a gift from Tan Ying to Yu Fei, that couple?
Thanks. I wasn't watching the whole episode as I will rewatch it when proper subs comes out. I am watching to see the progress. Legal subs are at episode 11 still. I know that I need to wait till episode 22.
When I watch it with subs later will be very curious why a client will make such a gift and who was it intended for.
yes, it is worrying - I put my own misgivings in spoilers but perhaps future audience should indeed get warned…
Precisely my point. They are renting and she was gojng to buy. You know what I think all of us are going to wait for subs. I wasn't paying attention as I wasn't interested in that plot in the earlier conversations. Maybe I remember wrongly. I didn't think my Mandarin was that poor.
It was a great ep 17. With my community this episode was very successful. We love how the characters are portrayed…
Did we even watch the same episode?
You mean the main characters I hope because a suicidal pregnant woman whose husband cheated on her is not the best episode. The other woman moving in an suing her is also not a good episode. The female lead being responsible for the friend is not a good episode.

The main romance is going fine. Its not an issue as a romance drama. However putting a pregnant woman drinking, suicidal and homeless is nuts. I swear I thought the friend said she was married a few episodes back. Then the other lady is calling the guy husband in ep 17 and the friend called her the mistress.
Like pre- marital sex is so openly accepted in China and then legally registered marriages so easily discarded. Lets not talk about both their parents
So yeah this secondary character plot line is bad. I usually like secondary couples in dramas but this is not going to end well. She shouldn't accept him after he cheated on her. Yet a single mother of twins is not going to be a good outcome. You sure they mentioned her being a lawyer?
The drama seems to be very blase about the actual legal aspects of being a female lawyer.
Yeah this will not get a good drama rating from me regarding the writing/plot. They just made the female too dumb.
Episode 17 has a very messy side plot. I really laughed today at what happened to the male lead.
However the side plot is actually quite worrying. So yes the plot itself is bad but the writer or the novel writer wrote a very bad situation. There are so many morally wrong issues in the story tonight.
I am not going to put into spoilers because I am not discussing the female lead and how she handled it. Or how the main actor behaved.
The reason why I disliked the plot is that normally secondary characters are a given. However the writer made the friend be unemployed, pregnant with twins, got kicked out of her home, drank alcohol while probably in her 2nd trimester pregnancy, attempt suicide, hire a private investigator and then exposed the affair to the partner's office.
There are SO many wrongs in this whole side plot that anything that is solved easily is a writer's cop- out. Just what can you do with a side character is left unbalanced and pregnant?
How is this is going to be solved in an romance frama?
I guess i am the only one not enjoying this drama , Absolutely love the ML can't say the same for the FL , way…
Drop ir if you don't like it. I do it all the time. The female lead doesn't screech thank god. Its not the best romance drama of all time but when you want to watch something its fine. I am kinda addicted because the other romance dramas doesn't guarantee a romance. Plus half of them end up with either an open ended ending or a dead main lead.
So yeah I'd take a glossy production and actors who can act. The plot- follows the novel somewhat I hear.
He also has quick growing facial hair (he said so himself) so maybe the makeup sits a bit heavier on his skin…
Thankfully he has the height and features.
There were 3 Korean child actors who I thought were very talented. And they are. However they are slight built and didn't reach 180cm. That is a pity as the casting directors seem to hire male leads who are 180- 185cm. Its like a magic number or something.

Holy cow. They are not at that stage yet.
The saving grace was that house. Definitely not a kid friendly house
Its an obvious error but what a random sentence. Which girl would have sent it a man?
Is she still so oblivious? She really is.
Yes I speak Mandarin.

Now if I can only find the link for ep 17 tonight. I have been unsuccessful getting a link early.

Can't complain much when you're watching in on streaming sites.
