I just saw the preview. Oooohhh... episode 11 and 12 are going to be angsty.

I can't work out why I like the actress. I think its because her voice is emotive. The lip synching parts were atrocious but the other normal speaking voices part is fine. In fact I think I might wander past to her completed drama where she actually gets the guy.

She has a degree or a degree in childhood education. Or pre- school I think.

I can't even work out how a Weibo singer has got to do with robotics.

Its like a random job choice. So who knows.

Unless they write him falling for Adai then Hao Liang. Then that would just be poor writing.

I am currently obsessively thinking disparagingly about the double-PhD Han guy. For some reason all the Cdramaland throwing around PhDs from famous universities kinda pisses me off considering how hard it is to get one PhD
Whether you're a genius or not. A double PhD who parties and is socially savvy as well? Not in real life. At least not before 30 years old. I am in the science field. There is no way in real life you can publish that many researchs or do 2 dissertations all at or before 30 years old.

Oh crap. Thats bad because I think I might be guilty of that. Or rather half my colleagues might be guilty of that. We are a large department and multiculturally diverse. I can recognise my own culturally similar face but on the other hand have difficulty with my other colleagues. Especially if they are young, same height and hairstyle. Groan.

Oh thats so bad. Now I feel bad.

I am on 1 Kdrama and picking up 3.

And started My Special Girl and thinking of starting Amidst a snowstorm of love.

If you think the story is coherent then won't mind starting. Otherwise would just watch episode 36. These stories have a habit of disastrous endings with the main leads dying.

Thank you. Only one of the 6 dramas I am on or starting will have a bad ending. I am expecting a bad ending for the Love Song For Illusion. The leads are young, the medical aspects are always going to be badly written and a Crown Prince as a designer is just too fusion.

So this has a female general and they almost always suffer or die. The other male lead is younger and I don't particularly like him. However and a big however I like the synopsis. I also don't know the female lead and the other male actor but his credentials looks good.

I would admit though that bun tieing in the restaurant was one of the funniest things I've seen on a Kdrama. It could be real unless the actor does know how to tie a woman's hair. If I was a customer in a restaurant watching I would be dying from laughter. Her hair was so messy it couldn't even that messed up with a stylist's help.

I just can't work out how he is written as particularly inept when the writer made him so clever. Cdrama- land is full of geniuses but they can sometimes be written better. It doest come off being cute but questionable for a guy over 30 years old. Does any campus heartthrob in China stay so innocent? There are some pretty aggressive pursuits in real life and drama- land.

This is one of the better written ones. Ojakyo brothers and My daughter Seoyoung remains one of my favourite dramas to rewatch certain scenes. Then the other one with Lee Joon. Those were angst done right.

The others? Useless trash for the sake of writing trash. Daily dramas are ones which can kill you. Those 160+ episode ones.

I will watch this but the writing is poor. I can't even work out at this point why or when the male lead likes the girl.

Did they have to make her that stupid if she is graduating. I swear I had the math questions in high school. Was I 16? Yeah these questions were when I was in high school.

The double PhDs in Cdramas drives me bonkers because I know how hard it is to get a PhD in my field and associated fields.

However I like the male lead so will try to plod through. The female lead can act but she needs to stop getting type cast into these ingenue roles. Is she like 40kg or something?

I did drop some Cdramas lately with leads I liked because of idiotic writing so we will see. The editing or scene transitions are pretty choppy too.

My other 3 dramas are full of angst so I guess its good to have a fluff drama. However an AI company with only 1 programmer? And that OTT party? Or company dinners? I am stil trying to recover from the welcome dinner. Was it meant to be funny? Even the game is normally considered sexual harrassment by the superior rather than excitingly thrlling and heart pounding.

The major bonus is that it finishes next week and I have a few days of gore and blood training at work. So this counteracts it. I mean I am assisting in it not the ones getting tested.

And so? No need to swear and get so worked up. There are a ton of Cdramas around.

Look if you have nothing you urgently want to watch you can continue. The 3 colleague Wu Jun alone is enough for me to recommend this to you.

I won't spoil it for you. I am going back to ep 6 of The Interpreter now. I started it a few days ago despite all the complaints and whining. And the lower ratings. I find that drama more to my taste. Unlike some others I don't find the male lead attractive; its just my taste. However I am staying or stayed because of his acting abilities because his character is the typical arrogant male then he becomes the total opposite. I'm blaming the writer. I am actually watching The Interpreter because of Victoria Song and its one of the main criticism of that drama. However I have zero issues with the FL at present. So don't take my taste into account.

Apparently this FL can act but can't kiss according to the others. I wouldn't know however the permed hair and that smile drove me crazy the whole drama.

Done. I'm still at ep 10 on the viki subs but I don't think it is rewatchable.

As a romance drama it will do but the ending was lame for a 36 episode drama.

The FL spent the whole drama just doing the pseudo- mysterious smile. The plot was a bit cliched and the 180 degree personality transplant from the ML was too much for me.

However the positive were the 3 colleagues and Wu Jun. They were brilliant.
Ep 31- 35 was obviously better executed but the jealousy part was
overdone. Pettiness is not attractive.

There were some good moments but the male lead was only allowed to do some. And what is the issue with kissing ? It was so statue- like all the time. And Wu Jun's, 360 degree spin class so old- school.

It would be. The writers did not research enough.

By the way I actually used to study Arabic in secondary school but I had forgotten it from lack of practice. However I used to volunteer at viki and managed the Arabic translation team sometimes. And a few other languages- I speak several. The point is that I have had enough feedback from other languages from foreign language translators that mistakes are made in their languages. I do not think that writers research well enough. My specialty were medical dramas and we also found mistakes in either medication dosages or facts. The actors literally said the wrong things.

All these are the writer's faults by the way.

The languages I had feedback from all those used in dramas included French, Spanish and German. I really did have emails with a lot of people including those doing the East Europeam languages. So I had a lot of exposure. I was one of the very active team managers

Chinese drama writers don't research that meticulously and yeah it's pretty darn embarrassing its that obvious.

I have been laughing at the whole A1 app. It has obviously not reach that stage in real life. I have Middle Eastern colleagues at work and I am probably one of the very few people who bother to distinguish between the countries and dialect groups when we are looking for translators.

Anyway sorry for the digression. I am now going to watch ep 30- 36 since it dropped. I can't be bothered waiting for the good subs. The kisshn subs are nonsensical anyway

I am still ep 6. Then when to ep 18 and 19 to see if I want to continue. I actually do. Especially since I stated from ep 25- 27.

I wanted to make sure this drama was worth watching. I am not interested in the currently airing historical dramas.

You seriously expect that much attention to details? Welcome to the drama world.

I know ep 31 will not be to your liking based on the preview. I guess you could try at ep 32 if they resolve it fast

Skip past ep 31 too if you're thinking what I'm thinking. I heard about ep 31 so intend watch once ep 34 airs. Save myself the trouble. Unfortunately I've a weekend of work reading to do for a super- expensive course. So thank goodness it's distracting me.

Yes. The Cdramas writers teach their local audience or gullible viewers terrible life decisions. However I watch it to destress from work so it will do. Males or even females have their self estem. Not in dramaland though.

Our Interpreter which I just started.

Hahaha. That's the same way I feel about My Boss. They made Cheng Xi so strong yet I don't buy into her romance. The 3rd couple here is also quite strong or rather has a strong female character. Everything you dislike about The Interpreter is the same rationale I feel for this. The male lead has become so sappy

Its the other way round. I started the Interpreter from ep 25-27 yesterday and like it a lot. I am now on episode 1.

So much so that I am going to play skip ep 30 since I heard about ep 31.

The Interpreter is more up my alley. I didn't even know that. Don't get me wrong I love the 3 sidekicks in the office. However the romance here is so restrained and even more conservative than the college romances.
