What are you guys watching please?

Guardians of the Dafeng has finished. The express package for this is tonight.

I am undecided if I should restart Blossoming Love from ep 17. I am restarting The Double for lack of anything to watch.

I have viki and Netflix. And use K **sh. Every time I check out the synopsis for the latest update from Ki**sh the MDL ratings are low or the comments really uncomplimentary. I can't remember which drama's comments but the FL had 2 guys and the comments were that she was a " whore. " I mean like " seriously? I don't think they even kiss. Does the person actually know the definition of the word? " Some people are just so uncouth. If they like to use these terms so much they shouldn't be watching K or Cdramas where its is almost obligatory to have a love triangle.

So that is why I have totally given up trying to find something. There doesn't seem to be anything. Check in Hanyang has turned dense. Or rather the ML is not very bright. Love Scout is currently great. Howwver I am literally down to NO dramas.

I mean I do have shitloads of work to do at home- brought home from work. So want something well written, not necessarily angsty.

Oh yes Moonlight Mystique is not hitting my sweet spot. I dropped it. I did enjoy Begin Again. The age gap is too large for me for the Song Wei Long drama for me to even start it. I am also not that fond of the FL's acting.

I really have nothing relaxing to watch late at night to relax before sleep.

So what am I left with? How did you guys choose? Thank you in advance.

And I cannot rewatch Go, Go Squid. Both the actors have done such a good job here I cannot go back to that drama.

Try a modern romance then. I did watch some romance dramas recently and liked it. Not young love but mature leads.

It is campy but then I don't need angst in every drama.

I like it for the pace. Maybe you should try Guardians of the Dafeng. I am watching both. One is like going down the rapids.

I am using her as mini-mental check to see if I am forgetful because I can never remember which dramas causes her to post. It reminds me of the pop up gnomes in all those Kdrama scenes. You know- the mole you knock down in the arcade games outside the convenience stores?

I wouldn't worry about it. I am on ep 23 now and skipping her scenes quite happily. However she is in one scene in ep 24 which I would advice you not to skip. I was quite happp watching it and might even be snickering. Yeah so skip.

Yes. And isn't it great? What's the point about writing a female- centric drama and the female needs the male all the time to progress the story?

Can I say the inner pettiness in me thoroughly enjoyed ep 24.

Yes revenge tropes are common but when its done well its just so satisfying. I just love the utter and complete humiliation from WC. Some writers just do a cope out but I like a B being a proper B and not being a pansy and letting bullies get away with being mean.

I wasn't paying that much attention. Sorry- but I use the Korean names because its easier to use find recipes in Korean if you need it. I will list what I remember then will go back and check one by one.

Bulgulgi. Doenjang jjigae.
Hobak jeon with sliced chili, yeongeun jorim. gongnamul muchim, japchae, gamja bukkeum. I am unsure if I am seeing the quail eggs that comes with jangjorim. Its called machurial jorim. Then I can't see the green properly to see if its bok choy muchim with doenjang. The dubu/tofu looks like a muchim with nyangnyeomjang.

The dishes are all doable except who the heck has time to cook so many? I'll be back to confirm each dish. Have you cooked any of them before? None of them are complicated. Just a bit time consuming. People would buy it from the banchan shops normally.

The ingredients are all basic Korean pantry seasoning. The only thing with bulgulgi is that if you don't use pear juice you can use pineapple juices. I actually cook more dubu jorim then his pan fried tofu with the sauce on top. But yeah all the dishes are common every day dishes.

I think I have never met a stage play in a historical drama before. I was literally gobsmacked wondering what were the actors thoughts. That was ep 36.


I had to pause at ep 37 when the King made the PM wait. I was so furious that I needed to come read the spoilers as I needed to know what happens in ep 40.

I can cook all the dishes he did for episode 5 by the way. So I am just saying that's a freaking lot of banchan. MAN. And all I was planning to cook for the kids were galbijjim, sukju namul amd kimchi.

So yeah boy I'd fall for a guy who can cook so much.
