I don't know what punishments they hand out in Canada but it is really hard to revoke a license here. Suspended sentence yes. Its usually more for dangerous malpractice. We had some shockers recently. When I measure this against a recent case when a 2 year old dying from cardiac arrest from sepsis in ED last month; this is mild.

If you want to nitpick you're run into a lot of issues with a lot of dramas.

He was treating her for insomnia. Yes they are in a doctor patient relationship. But when the actual dating started she had stopped treatment.

Time frame? Thats up to the medical board and someone has to actually report the couple. If you're talking about Western medicine. People usually report it if there are financial issues arising from the relationship otherwise who would report a random couple in real life.


You might want to check with doctors, nurses, allied health practitioners how they meet their partners... talking about real people.

Canada? I will check it out when I next meet up with my Canadian and American colleagues. I work in Australia and we have a huge international workforce. Including those from Europe. Like someone mentions it someone has to report it and it would require some incident otherwise most people would leave it alone. We value people's privacy here. It would have to be something like predatory behaviour for me to report someone to our professional body. The ones that licenses practitioners. There should be a review board anyway before license suspension. You might want to actually check the cases. Most people don't get reregistered that easily. You have unions protecting your rights too. It won't be a " you are dating your patient, you violated the law, you lose your medical license. " The institution or hospitals will also have to be involved. This is the neighbourhood TCM clinic. Moving on to the TCM hospital if he was a oncology doctor who got involved in a young cancer patient and swindled her money etc then yeah it would lead to criminal charges, hospital disciplinary committee, professional license report and review. BEFORE you lose your license.

TCM is taken seriously. Did you hear the talk in the hospital? They had more " real " medical lines there then in a Korean medical drama. I am talking about technical talks. TCM is a real thing. You might want to google more about it.

He would be the type that got them married within 3 months. However if he could he probably would have met her parents at the 2nd date. He just swoops. His behaviour is not laid back at her. He just looks slow and calm.

Its called the progression of romance done in a tasteful manner.

No histrionics from parents.

The director actually showing daily moments. And leads who are actually meeting up vs being busy with or overtime, being apart, being sick.


There have been so many dramas where I love a couple and can't even see them meeting up. They have bouquets in their hands, nice outfits, eating in places with nice ambiance. Good food.

Let me tell you how happy I am not to see badly cooked steak with no sauce and the minuscule salad scenes. No pizza. Or sandwiches for breakfast scenes. No running off with milk, fried dough stick and just steamed buns. They have proper meals in this drama. So many nice soothing outdoor scenes at work and the back garden.


Like seriously.... its rare to have such nice shoots in a drama. I appreciate it A LOT.


Did you see how polluted the city actually looks everytime you see a drone shot? Its actually not that green. So those evening shoots with flower bouquets regularly? Its not the norm.

This has been most of the most atmospheric outdoor through the seasons dramas I've watched on Cdramas.

I am also not that fond of goji berries and jujube in real life so glad to have a herb foreword each episode.

I wanted to watch a romance drama. I am very happy to watch a plain and simple romance drama with no makjang all the time.

I am so used to fake cherry blossom tree in the midst of greenery in all those xianxia dramas that its actually very rare to get a bright day time cherry blossom kiss.

Those 2 are just beautiful together. I am so happy that they cast the actors together. They are very compatible. I am also very happy the writer wrote very likable characters and main lead did not mistreat each other.

I can honestly say that episode 18 is the bar I will set future romance dramas main lead moments up against.

The writing and the writer was inspired. Not too much. Not too little.

I would even give Yan Heng the douchebag a pat on the back for episode 18. You really set the scene. Yan Heng has been the best use of a drama cliche. Like, really... he has been the most useful ex. Ever.

People? Didn't He Suye do the BEST protective mode ever? I swear I don't know how he is assertive without being violent.

Her parents? I could almost wax lyrical over their support. The friends were perfect.

And I didn't even have wait for an assertive 32 year old man doing what an assertive 32 year old man should know to do. This guy has some moves; not beating around the bush. His gentle appearance is really deceptive. His house's modern decor and past time is more He Su Ye.

I have never been so mellow like I've been tonight. Its not just me being happy where we are story- wise; its the fact that I am so satisfied with the episode. Each moment was not wasted. This is beautiful writing. The characters stayed true to themselves, the directing superb.

I got impatient and watched ep 10. Using Kdrama logic and the y degrees of separation theories... how far off am I for ep 11-40?

Se Ri falls Beom So the Harvard educated economist. So her mum will freak out because she is marrying a divorced man with a toddler. Her ex- boyfriend's dad is now going to be her her older brother- in law.

Hang Gyeol the navy doctor who was going to marry Seri. No clue if he has a love interest or just there to be broody when Se Ri breaks up with him.

2nd brother Chun Su is a straight forward lost job, lost wife and has daughter who is going to be with Moon Mi Sun. Who is divorcing. Any kids? Why is this complicated? That's a straight Kdrama plot and we know where we are going with it. He is just going to end up managing the Brewery.

Heung Su the chereographer is just going to end up with the hair salon lady post the schemer with the 10 year old child secrets. So she supports him etc. Yoo In Young is so tall and glamourous and only 41 years old. I cannot believe they gave her the ahjumma curls for weekend dramas. Standard hairstyle.

Gang Su is going to be with Bom right? I haven't worked out the personalities yet for both but both seem gentle. He then goes to run LX hotel as a manager? Let's say.... hotel front office? Or reception since they kept emphasising his leadership skills.

Please don't tell me the mother is going to end up with the other guy in the brewery? Can't be as the age gap is too much.

How am I doing so far? And oh... we'll get the back story of the Dokgo family and Eagle Brewery. I mean they have to reconcile as the daughter is marrying brother no 4. The materialistic mother is going to flip unless they make her dote on Ha Ni.

Crap. I just checked out the screenwriter. I've watched a few of her dramas. Whatever I've said raise it 4x... and that would be thwe plot. She does makjang and suffering so at least I know what to expect.

I am about to start. I know how long winded 50 episode dramas are. I normally dont start till ep 35 when the main couple gets together but this drama has too many of my favourite supporting cast.

How many of you watching have experienced it? Its expensive flying over. Its hard to coordinate the timezone. And logically a lot of people want to stay on to work post graduation.

This is a hotel management masters. You guys all know people working in hospitality especially international franchise all work overseas or switch hotels. They are not even living in a big city. If just 30 tourists are a big deal that is not an international resort. People doing hotel Masters are usually going to be in management.

So... I am actially womdering why people think its a good idea to start something when you're leaving in 2 months.
