I’m not saying its morally correct though, and personally i wouldnt and i think she shouldve ended her first relationship first. Few theories on why Fuko wasnt chosen: 1. in general as a all rounder she gives more vocal, jiyoon and jeong eun already made it 2. in terms of “diversity”/foreign presence Koko and Mai filled the spot. I agree shes good yes, but she didnt exceptionally shine whereas a lot of people can relate to ryu sarang with her anxiety and sudden improvement, plus her cuteness

You can argue she has to start over regardless, because her whole life's work is in the wrong hands and her reputation would be hard to salvage. At the end she has "grown" and realized she lost herself in that lifestyle and has the support to give her dreams a chance. Whether she likes it or not any direction she would've chosen would've been a new beginning

Ratings are not doing this drama justice. It's a high 8 borderline 9.5 for me. So feel good, so realistic, just perfect. the actors are too good
