yea, they explained when they found him at the qurantine village that he’d been fleeeing because he was still associated with the devoted hearts so i guess he was just that committed to it that he didnt wanna risk anyone having information. there's a scene toward the end, after he delivered the news to the royal people he went into the storyteller's cell and was gonna swap clothes so he can escape, he said he "saved his last breath for this" while clutching his heart(remember he had heart disease). There was a earlier scene where he was shown lying on a mat, implying he had died. Execution or simply his heart disease, we don't know. {Personally i doubt its execution because the real husband coming back to deliver new would have proved storyteller did not kill him in the first place}

i am female human aka a woman,but i dont see why i have to be marginalized for my opinion. I’m sure im not the only one with it too. You must be old with that outdated ass opinion. If your wife cheats on you, maybe she had a reason otherwise she wouldn’t in the first place, perhaps in this case the reasons were those that i listed. I’m not saying its morally correct though, and personally i wouldnt and i think she shouldve ended her first relationship first.
