When I thought about dashing youth when I heard first time about it I thought we already know what's gonna happen through TBOY..read comments saying not so good enough stuff I was like ok hmm let's check out myself AND honestly had not much high expectations from this but this totally caught me by surprise I just never got bored while watching the journey from E1 to e40 thrs not a single episode which is slow paced imo.. I absolutely liked this as much as TBOY.. Tbh I will say this DY ND TBOY Doesn't have complex stories where there's gonna be lots of battles of wit etc it's layed with not so much complex plot so for me when I went into it both TBOY back then nd now DY MY EXPECTATIONS from An action focused specific Wuxia IS HIGH LEVEL ACTION, CGI VFX BUDGET, flex, moment, hype moment, cinematography, characters and their dynamic.. Nd a well done conclusion. And imo DY satisfied me in all these moments.
my fav chars end up being Dongjun, changsheng/nangong, ye dingzi, sikong changfeng, Yue yao.
Before watching I saw that people were bashing yi wen Jun without any restraints so I was wondering is the way wenjun story unfold here differently from TBOY cuz there she was someone who has been suffering for a long time nd as I watched I saw what happened nd how it affected them both nd I just couldn't hate wen Jun I just felt sad for her nd ofc Ye.. To me the world failed them both.. After watching I found those comments rather absurd nd many biased nd childish too, they totally ignored how worse it was for her too... They were both victims of Greedy people coveting for power.. For me both DY ND TBOY IS EQUALLY GOOD ND M actually glad they ended it where it was the best time... There's some gap btw DY nd TBOY time period but it does not matter to me honestly as this is about a prequel and a sequel ✌️✌️
Totally recommended for Wuxia lovers imo yall should first watch DY and then go to TBOY. M here patiently waiting for TBOY s2 and also Tales of Dark river 🔥🔥🔥
One of the most trashiest characters in this story is shangguan qian. (gong shang jue deserves better). Ppl down must be smoking something to actually root for the pair🙂. Unnecessary plot armour too iykyk
