Is anyone else confused about the proposal scene in episode 8???
Yes, like he was so broke, where did he come up with all this stuff to get the drones, the buffet and why the heck are all the office friends there, it was weird. They never showed the lead up to it, other than Ji Won and Ji Hyuk talking about how awful the first one was. I know a lot of people are mentioning the Ji Hyuk helped him prepare for it, but it seems out of character for Ji Hyuk to help Min Hwan at all.
reading the comments, and y’all get it!! they changed it too much and i expected a lot more by now tbf, like…
yeah, I don't like how the ML is pushing the FL to be with eunho in the drama...I know he is only doing it because he thinks his fate is to die in a car wreck, because he doesn't think he can push his fate onto anyone else..... I don't know why they haven't done the apartment thing either? I mean I thought a couple of episodes ago she said in the drama she should move, but yet it is not really happening. There are many differences between both. I like the drama, but I also like how certain things played out more in the webtoon as well (like the big reveal of that they both time traveled so to speak)
It feels like things have been revealed way too fast. is that how it happens in the webtoon? ML’s secret to…
In the webtoon the secret was revealed way later, actually after they were almost a couple, but she was about to leave him. I don't really like the reveal here in the drama, but I understand they make changes and not everything is going to be exactly like the webtoon. Also the reveal itself was completely different, she found out in a letter vs the heart on his chest and the BTS songs.
water scenes in Asian dramas never make any sense. Swim chick, swim....lol omg. that scene frustrated me 😡😔😡
That scene frustrated me, because why didn't she just walk around to the other side of the lake. Then she wouldn't have had to swim so far and/or the rocks were almost close enough to the edge that she may not have had to even get in the water.
I think Lee Yi Kyung is doing great here. Park Min Hwan as a character is a joke plus he is delusional and seriously…
I agree. I think he is playing the part really well. I guess I have the advantage of not seeing Waikiki yet, so I haven't really seen him in more of a comedic role, but I think he is doing superb playing douchey ego male.
Ep 8 ends with a quick fast-forward to the proposal, but I've no doubt that ep 9 will start a bit earlier in the…
I hate when they do that with dramas or stories. I have noticed they have been doing that a lot in this drama. They show a real quick scene and then a few minutes later go back and show the whole lead up and more. It is aggravating sometimes to watch dramas like that.
So I made a huge mistake, by reading the webtoon while watching this. I wouldn't recommend it, at least for me.…
Although, the basic premise/storyline in the drama is the same, the overall drama has changed a lot from the webtoon. I liked the reveal in the webtoon vs how they did it here (although the BTS references were kind of neat). A lot of the characters are a bit different. The meal kit proposal was originally written by Ms. Yang in the webtoon, here in the drama they had it written by Ji Won. Some of the stories like the Mr. Lee character is different, he was suppose to be working with Ji Hyuk (for a security firm), but here they have him basically the right hand guy for the chairman. I don't like the "fake" friendship between Ms. Yang and Soo Min either. In the webtoon Ms. Yang could tell there was something wrong with Soo Min.
This is why I can't do read the source and watch at the same time. I get frustrated with to many changes and it looks like they are changing quite a lot. I will be interested in how the marriage thing goes and if it follows the webtoon.
I do want to add Lee Yi Kyung is pulling off Min Hwan excellently, he is giving me major creep vibes.
So I made a huge mistake, by reading the webtoon while watching this. I wouldn't recommend it, at least for me. If I am really enjoying a series/drama, I will usually read the source material after, cause I hate doing comparisons. Since, I was enjoying this drama so much, I wanted to read the webtoon, because the time between episodes was a bit long and I am not really watching anything else, but now I regret it. Will follow up more in spoiler tag reply...
I will give you best advice, don't watch the last 5 min of this drama....the director and editors were drunk and…
I agree. I felt this way with The Song of Glory as well, when she poisoned herself at the end. Ugh, I really hate those type of endings, it ruins the whole drama for me. Especially when given time they could fix their situations and supposedly are both very smart women, but decided to end their life. The only drama that did it right imo, was Bai Lu's character in One and Only. I felt her dying as she did at the end was a perfect ending, although I hated both leads dying, Forever and Ever made up for it.
Any other recommendations... (excluding nif, minglan)
I would highly recommend The Rebel Princess. It is absolutely amazing, too. I put it up there almost with this one. A lot of political stuff in that as well.
A few other recommendations: (I know some of these have Love in them, but there is a political drama as well) Legend of Yun Xi (a tad bit of fantasy in this one) Weaving a Tale of Love Love Like the Galaxy New Life Begins One and Only (Sad Ending, but its sequel or modern half make up for it) Princess Agents (Open Ending) Story of Kunning Palace The Blooms of Ruyi Pavilion The Imperial Coroner The Legend of Dugu The Legend of Zhouhua The Long Ballad The Song of Glory

I have watched it a couple of times, I really love the banter and chemistry between NiNi and Chen Kun's characters. They really acted this so well. On that note, I hated the direction the story went when they sent her to the other kingdom, or rather she agreed to marry that dumb idiot Helian Zheng. I would recommend to just stop watching at that point. Cause the story imo fell off the rails then, even though I keep torturing myself and watch the whole thing, when I know better.
Finally finished episode 4, now all caught up and looking forward to all the more juiciness of the oncoming episodes.…
So for those who see this as similar to Perfect Marriage Revenge, I get it. They both reset, they both know and they both have a clue on a part of them (PMR has the dates on their wrists and MMH has the hearts, his on his chest and hers on currency). That is where the comparisons pretty much end for the most part. Other than the sort of revenge part.
The premise of this I gather is that although her life is reset the fate is still there, so she is pushing her horrible ex friend to marry her soon to be ex fiancé, so that she doesn't have to go through that fate again.
I am loving all the cast, they are so great and this story is really good, there are of course the usual cliches (the ex friend trying to make herself look better and fake being her friend, but really backstabbing Ji Won ).
I don't usually have 2or3ML syndrome but omgoodness, Eun Ho is so cute and he is so sweet. It makes me sad to know that they won't be the ultimate end game. They could have always gotten a second chance, because the horrible rotten ex friend spoiled it for them the first time.
Anyway, excited for what is to come. Going to read the webtoon now so I can spoil myself.

Wow...Americans are also watching. Flixpatrol doesn't show the US right now. When will it show up?
Yeah I am in the US and mainly got Prime for the shipping. I occasionally will watch shows, but now they are putting K Dramas on there I will watch it more. My husband watches Amazon Prime videos way more than I do and of course when American Football is on. I mainly use Viki, most of the time for Korean dramas or Hulu (Disney +)
