I am one of those people, I don't give a rating til the drama is finished and if I drop a drama, I don't rate it at all. It is just how I am. Yes the FL mother is annoying and aggravating and we have no sympathy for her, but to me it means the actress playing her part is doing one hell of a job at portraying that character and makes me enjoy this drama even more.

I can't believe they continue to excuse her (the mom) behavior and apologize on her behalf. I mean MCH even paid the grandma 6 months rent for them to stay there and even though MCH is not living with them anymore she is taking care of her family's house, etc. And yes, if anything the mom needs to apologize for everything and quit playing the victim.

Fast forward or skip the mom parts... Overall, I am liking the drama, the pace of it and the story. There are a few parts I do skip, like some of the long drawn out conversations between the mother and dad, and some of the brother and the friend scenes, but those are just a bit boring and uninteresting to me. Other than that, I am really enjoying the story. I really am surprisingly loving Xu Kai and Yang Zi together. I was a bit worried (just as I am about Seven Tan and Xu Kai's chemistry in their upcoming drama) about how these two would be together and their chemistry, but they are actually really great together and their acting just flows easily (also, I personally did not like him with Yang Mi, I did not get couple vibe at all from those two and I gave SAHPH several episodes).

Enablers is the perfect word to decribe the family. They have allowed the mother to become what she has become because they enabled her and never said no or talked back and allowed her to have her way. I am glad MCH finally stood up to her, but from the previews it looks like they may reconcile and the mother goes back to being the same annoying way.

I haven't seen "Something in the Rain", but I thought CSS's mother in Love Like the Galaxy was actually the worst. ( I know you can't really compare cause it is a costume drama, but.....) **also, CSS's mother sort of redeemed herself at the end, I guess we will see if MCH's mother can do the same**

I can see that, a lot of her dramas are hit or miss with me. I like her in Nobel Aspirations, I just like that drama overall, but my favorite of hers though, is Go Go Squid, I have rewatched it several times. Ashes of Love was actually the first drama I watched her in and at the time I liked it, but going back and trying to rewatch it, I can't get into it anymore. I am looking forward to her in Flourished Peony and The Golden Hairpin. I haven't watched Lost You Forever, because of I am waiting for part 2 to start airing before I watch part 1.

Please tell me I am not the only one who noticed what looked like a young kid's legs in episode 11 at the 2 min 8 sec mark, in the background near the glass windows, left hand side. Is it a doll or a person? They never showed the upper body.

I am so glad MCH stood her ground about the co worker getting fired and calling the police. I so thought after hearing her sob story, MCH would relent, but rather she actually stood up and came back at the co worker about her own family situation.

Curious Question, after watching the first 10 episodes: In episode one at about the 26 min mark, YZM meets with Ms. Zhang (the woman who is plotting with YZM to take down Dennis) and they talk about her daughter and how she is leaving her daughter in his hands. Is YZM dating her (the daughter) or are they together? We haven't seen or heard (or I haven't) any mention of this (or rather Ms. Zhang's daughter) since then and it has been bugging me.

I agree, I also feel that way about her boyfriend's sister. I think she is irrelevant as well.

Not only that I just realized she was also the main actress in Qing Luo with Liu Xue Yi, I liked that drama (not a lot of people do, but I did). I am so bad about placing some of these actors. I love it, though when I realize, "oh I have seen her or him in another drama"

I believe it is because of anti-fans. I am not a fan of the ratings being allowed until the drama is actually over. The fact that anyone is allowed to rate a drama while a drama is ongoing is aggravating, so many people don't even care about the drama at all, It is all about the actors, if they don't like the actors they will down rate it, which imo isn't fair. That is why I do not pay attention to ratings, I read the synopsis and then watch a few episodes (sometimes a bit more), before I decide if I like a drama and want to watch it, etc., but not everyone is like that. I do choose or prioritize my drama watching based on actors that I like (story or synopsis is usually second), but even if I like the actors doesn't always mean their dramas are good.

I knew she looked familiar and was trying to think where she was from and I have watched LLTG over 10xs at least.

Can someone tell me why the sister is butting into her brother's (XJL) love life? Also, why is she at her parent's house as if she is living there, isn't she married? She keeps harping about MCH being a leech or wanting their money, yet she acts the same in a way, whenever she supposedly was married off because of business deal, so she should have her own wealth, because of her husband. I find her more annoying than any other character.
