I’m feeling the OE but I’m prepared after TTEOTM, TLP, TSL and BoR… I can take it (not really but I’ll…
I usually wait until a drama (especially xianxias) finish before I start watching them. I usually only watching ongoing Modern CDramas, but I really am enjoying this one to much to want to wait (and enjoying the comment section, lol that also is a small factor in my decision making to watch an ongoing drama).
That being said when I found out how TTEOTM ended I haven't started watching it yet, because I don't know if I can put myself through that kind of misery. I love watching Bai Lu and have watched almost every single one of her dramas, but I can't bring myself to start that one yet. I haven't finished TLP, haven't started LYF (because I don't want to get emotionally involved in that one until the 2nd season is announced or starts). I did watch BFTB, loved it (although, I wanted more). I didn't really enjoy The Starry Love's OE, but I get it. My all time favorite xianxia is TMOPB (or The Eternal Love of Dream, whichever you call it), L&R is good, but for me nothing has yet to beat my love for TMOPB and it has a great ending at least for the main leads, as well as Ashes of Love.

its been like that all year and I hate it. I do not like OE or SE (sad ending) or BE. I want a satisfactory happy ending, especially when they have gone through so much.
I liked Xiu Ming in this arc. Good to know that he noticed the detail that CK was clutching a torn piece of CH's…
I almost want to say it makes every thing he did in the previous tribulations pointless. But I get it now. He knew CK didn't remember and also he was trying to save CH and didn't want her to lost her primordial spirit. And maybe he was hoping since CK didn't remember he might get CH's attention (that was probably a little inkling of a thought)
Ok I know everyone is going crazy over CK’s look and he does look gorgeous btw, I will be the lone YCY look…
Her eyes pop! I have loved her eye make up through this whole drama, but this one is really outstanding. They really did do the costuming and make up so extraordinarily well in this drama. I have honestly never been so impressed with costuming and make up before. If they give awards for this, the people who worked on the make up and costume should get top honors. I would love to personally praise them myself. It is so outstanding.
is this any good? been seeing mixed reviews and unsure whether i should start this!
It's good, I liked it straight from the first episode, but it really starts taking off around episode 10+ honestly, maybe even 8. Where you usually get lulls in the middle of dramas, particularly C Dramas are bad about slowing down in the middle, this one actually picks up speed and is zooming right now. I feel there could be so much more to the story but we only have 6 episodes left. It is worth sticking out. Someone actually said that when they rewatch they are actually going to start in the middle (where they start the 30000 yrs tribulation) and then go back to the beginning as soon as that tribulation is over. I might try that as well. It might make for a different take on the story.
I would say she needs more work in that area. I think she did great in the body swap life, she played being him…
Oh I forgot to add, I forgot about Bai Lu's performance in One and Only, I think I almost cried or did cry at the end of that, I can't remember. I just know I can never watch that drama again knowing how it ends. It still hurts, but I have watched Forever and Ever several times.

I love watching Bai Lu. Her, Li Qin, and Zhao Lu Si are probably my favorites to watch right now, but there are many other actresses I like watching as well. But a lot of it depends on the story, if I don't like the story or the drama just doesn't catch my attention, regardless of who the actors are I probably won't watch or finish the drama.

Li Qin in Tears in Heaven and Zhao Lu Si in Who Rules the World and Love Like the Galaxy. I know there have been several heartbreaking dramas and scenes and they almost got me, but for some reason these two really showed so much emotion in the scenes that made me cry and I mean bawl like a baby with ugly tears. I know Tears in Heaven overall is not the best drama, but the scene where her "fiancé" died, it really got me and her acting was superb. What really makes me feel that they are great is if I can rewatch the scene knowing what is to come and still cry and both these actresses have done that for me.
so many rants about the acting of ycy ..if you hate her acting just skip the part ..or better drop the show we…
I am a huge fan of YCY. I have liked her since I saw her in Dance of the Phoenix. But I have to agree with some of the comments stating that felt that her acting was lacking when it came to the scene of CK getting shot with the arrow and "dying". I don't want to put all the blame on her, actually I want to blame the director and maybe the screen writer. I just feel there wasn't enough emotion in that scene with her and the XM actor, she didn't act like she just lost the love of her life and this was before she realized he is still alive somewhere (before seeing the red string). I personally wanted more emotion in that scene.
If I were XY I wouldn't tell the old man about CK and where I was going, that's too dangerous, anytime because…
I think after the Red String Master met the Heavenly King, he now suspects him. If you watch the scene, you see his inner dialogue with her (CH/XY) after the King asks about her. So I am thinking he might be slightly suspicious.
Please tell me I am not the only one who has rewatched the scene of him sitting on the demon throne when she reveals herself behind that veil like 10xs at least...... Also, I love the background music on that.
I am wondering can we petition to have him just doing a whole drama in this form, he can have any female lead, just let us have a whole drama of him like this, lol.
Not to be a hater but it would be better for this actress not to act in emotional scenes. It's cringe big time.
I would say she needs more work in that area. I think she did great in the body swap life, she played being him really well. She does good in authoritative roles as well. I agree big emotional scenes she does need work to move the audience. But I can honestly say (from my perspective ) there have only been two C Drama actresses that have ever made me cry while watching their scenes, in all the 200+ dramas I have watched. I do think she is improving in every drama that she does.
