I was in a state of frustration when I watched her acting with Xiu Ming after Chu Kong "died". Her acting was…
That was probably the only time I had been frustrated with her acting. I am not sure if the director or screenwriter called for that scene to be like that, but before she realized the red string was still there, she should have had more emotion especially since this is her greatest love and they had been through so much together already. I wanted to see her pissed at Xiu Ming, screaming, yelling, a lot of ugly tears, but that scene was definitely lacking all that. Like I said I don't know if I should blame her or the director for not making us feel that emotion of hurt before actually knowing the truth.
i was thinking about how cute they were then SUDEENLY CHUKONG GOT SHOT?? HE DIED?? it was so sudden i couldn't…
I knew he wouldn't be dead, at least in the back of my mind I felt that way, but when I watched it happen, I was like OMG Xiu Ming actually shot him. I didn't get the whole "it was planned thing" until CH showed XM her red string was still around her wrist.
Could be possible. I noticed this drama likes to do a lot of flashbacks to scene that we never saw as plot reveals.
There is a lot of dramas that do that. It is a big pet peeve of mine. I know they want to keep us in suspense, but oh it is so aggravating when they do this.
Please forgive me if this has been explained below. I like to overanalyze so I have so many questions. I usually am quick to catch on to things, but I am clueless about this time loop. Can someone explain it? Do they go through these lives over and over again? Or do they only experience the life of 30000 yrs ago over? If it is a time loop, and they have gone through this many times, why all the sudden now are they doing something?
Does anyone else believe Xiu Ming knew all along the Heavenly King was behind the whole thing?
How did the Demon King catch Jin Luo so easily and does anyone else think the Heavenly King is going to use her as a bargaining tool?
What is up the Demon Cores? How long do you think it will take the Heavenly King to realize his Demon King puppet isn't in charge anymore?
They need more than 6 more episodes........ (mainly just so I can keep staring at DYX in the cat demon form), but they keep adding more to the story.
I have been seeing comments by people saying they were turned off from it because of the online hate, but gave…
I only watch one person right now and I wouldn't call him a reviewer really (I get most of my reviews from comments on the dramas I am interested in), I watch Marcus ( https://www.youtube.com/@Marcushere ), because he doesn't really give a review, if there is something he watched he will give his thoughts and they are completely unbiased. But for the most part, I watch him to find out what is going on in CDrama Land and what dramas are coming up, etc. He does do a top 10 of TV and web dramas every Sunday as well.

I agree. From what little of the reviews I have watched of hers and from several others' comments about her reviews, I have learned she is very biased and way to critical, half of the time about dramas she hasn't even watched fully or even enough to give an unbiased critique about. I watched maybe one or two reviews of hers and I was done. In those reviews, I wondered if she was even watching the same drama I was. I don't understand where or how people think she can give an honest, unbiased review and take her word for it (sorry I am rambling, I could probably go on and on about how much I dislike her, lol)
I have high expectations from people who want to be considered critics or want to gain a social media following with their reviews.
haha glad to see you're having such a blast watching it
I agree. I had a hard time finishing that one as well. I fast forwarded a lot in it. But I have loved most of his, I even sat through Moonlight and I am not a huge Esther Yu fan.

I agree. To many people take advice from other people when they should be forming their own opinion. Like all those horrible people who refused to watch Hidden Love or give it a chance because of Ave X's review (and what that one scriptwriter said), I thought that was the dumbest reason and thing, especially when she hadn't even watched but maybe a few minutes of it and hadn't even read the novel. It turns out Hidden Love has one of the highest MDL ratings for a Chinese Drama and has a HUGE international following. Even some K Drama people I follow who have never watched a C Drama, checked out Hidden Love and now want to watch more C Dramas, that is how huge of an impact it got.
My personal favorite so far is the Master/Disciple life, depending on how you look at it, it would be the 3rd (if we are counting the pig/tiger as first) or 4th (if you are counting the 30000 yrs ago as their first). The more interesting is probably this one they are currently on, which basically explains a lot of what happened 30000 yrs ago and got them to where they are today.
These days I am practically living in this comment section and counting minutes to each next episode XD. (seriously,…

This comment is so me as well. I am constantly here, lol. I haven't really thoroughly enjoyed a drama to this extent in so long especially a xianxia one.
My Journey to you has a rumored premiere date at the end of August.
just watched it. My biggest problem is they let fans basically dictate their life. The fact that fans would go to such extremes as committing suicide or other things because their favorite celebrity is dating is just insane to me. I do somewhat agree with some of the things, like the drugs and I don't think celebrities should voice their political or religious views ( I really wish they wouldn't do it here in the US). I didn't see ZZH doing that, someone purposely dug up those photos and he has come out denying the allegations made against him. I just think they (the Chinese government) are overly strict with most of their policies concerning celebrities.

Agree. I am still upset about the whole ZZH thing, that to me was utter ridiculousness. I am glad to see he is doing well and having concerts, but man I really want to see him back acting again. His costume dramas are some of my favorites. Deng Lun's was ridiculous as well. As long as he willing or able to pay the taxes back I don't get the problem. Also, don't get me started on the whole Xu Kai Cheng thing either, that story aggravates me a lot as well.
