He didn't know that CK could help him. He also said that over the years, CH used a lot of medicine to help but…
It wasn't so much that whether he knew they could help him or not, it was more that he should have at least told CH the intentions of HX so she could at least know what was going on. I don't know I get aggravated when they show these supposedly loyal people and then something puts them in a situation they are now no longer loyal or feel they can't talk to the people they are loyal to about said situation.
Had to come here and comment/ask a question. I am currently in the middle of episode 29. The biggest thing I hate about dramas overall is the lack of communication between loved ones, friends, etc. It leads to so many misunderstandings and I hate it, it is my biggest vice in these dramas. I just want to yell at them and say talk to each other you nitwits. Ok, so the reason for the rant:
Why did the Lord Protector not talk to CH and CK about what Hao Xuan was doing to his children? (I don't know if this happens later, after all I am only on episode 29) But.... he should have done it from the beginning, gone straight to CH and told her what Hao Xuan wanted him to do in exchange for his children's lives. I mean does he not think his Empress would help him or ask CK to help. This just aggravates the crap out of me, that the Protector would turn his back on his own clan, by helping this deceitful a**hole (for lack of a better term), I mean was he not smart enough to realize what HX was after and wanted overall. Come on, idiot, there are so many better ways to fix this. If nothing else he could have gone to CH and maybe they could have been prepared or come up with a plan at least.
Ok I am done ranting, I just get so aggravated and worked up when I see situations that could have been avoided.
I must be in minority. I don't really like this current arc (past life). It built up more on glamour rather than…
I like the first couple of episodes the lead up to them falling in love (in this life), now they know who they are, I want the story to move faster. They still have at least 1 or 2 more lives to get through and then finding out what happened to Immortal Li, getting rid of the big bad emperor, how the story of the Jin twins with the Nuwa stone is going to end, etc and only 10 episodes to do all this in. And now they add another side character with the twin.
I can't understand some scene from last ep, did ch hv a twin sister & she nvr seen her or know about her? That…
CH doesn't know she has a twin sister. The girl under the water is her twin, she just can't control her powers after she came of age. One of the heavenly emperor's minions explained that royal family of the Moluo clan always has twins, if the twins are boy/girl, they can be safe, but if the twins are the same sex then only one can survive. As far as anyone knows CH was supposedly born as an only child, but her father and the Protector know the truth, they hid the twin away. CH's father refuses to allow the Protector to talk about the twin at all.
I am not a novel reader, this is what I have gathered from the drama. As far as the novel goes, I am not sure if any novel readers have ever mentioned there being a twin to CH.
I suspect the twin is our explanation for how the Heavenly Emperor got his weird dark smoke powers, because that's…
I can see that. No one but the Protector knows about the twin and the Heavenly Emperor lets her loose and she kills lots of people which the Heavenly Emperor blames it on CH, while he eliminates the twin and gets those dark powers maybe.
someone needs to cause chaos so ... there is CH's twinand XM always prepare an arrow, must be used at the end…
I have a feeling that the arrow will kill CK, cause I believe novel readers said that she (CH) toward the end goes around and collects his essence to bring him back or something ( I think I read that somewhere or that is how it was in the novel, not sure what or how they will do it in the drama).
I wonder if the twin is trapped in the Nuva stone that the protector was trying so hard to get to revive CH. Your…
yes so many theories and questions and ugh I can't wait to find out all the answers. It is just weird that they bring in this twin all of the sudden. Hopefully we get more answers with the next episodes.
Ok, the whole "twin" thing is probably the first part of this whole drama, I have found to be completely unnecessary and totally irrelevant as this time in the story. (besides the 2ML, but he is just a tiny thorn, albeit irritating) I mean why? What could it possibly add to this already complicated love story that already has a huge antagonist (the heavenly king/older brother) and the mini antagonist (Xiu Ming)?
Now I just have a whole bunch of questions. What's wrong with the twin (she can't control her powers?) Is she the actual one that maybe killed all the heavenly soldiers and Xiu Ming's clan, and then it got blamed on Cang Hai instead? What will she even add to the story? Also, did the Heavenly King/Older Brother give the Protector that elixir that helped his kids, just so he could be owed a favor? Thinking the Heavenly King is going to use the Protector for some sinister deeds, oh so many thoughts going through my head right now.
I am guessing the black smoke hidden master mind giving orders to the zombie guy is the heaven emperor right?…
ep. 26 is from 30000 yrs ago, so he has been planning and plotting behind his brother's back for a very long time, I am curious why he doesn't like or has some grudge against the MuoLuo Clan....
Did I miss it or have they mentioned why the Heavenly King doesn't like the Muoluo Clan? Is there are a reason he doesn't want CK to get close to them? Also, Prince Xiu Ming needs to be put in his place, CH needs to friend zone him pretty quickly, for him to even think that he has a chance is what has made him so obsessive.
I can't believe there are only 12 episodes left. I could watch these two (and a few of the supporting characters) for a long time.
Loving the side story with the Stone guy and the twins 😆 One is his brother, one is his lover. And now the…
At first I didn't like it, really didn't like her actually Jin Luo, I mean I understand why she is doing what she is doing, but she is basically treating him like a prisoner and I feel so bad for him. I hated what she was doing to him. The beginning of episode 24 really changed my feeling of their story. I do feel bad for him though, I hope out of everyone he at least gets a happy ending, his story seems the most depressing and so sad.

lol just watched the first one, that is to funny, knitting a scarf with the red string of fate, seriously this guy (to bad he works for the heavenly king)
I watched ep 23 and ep 24 with happiness. I cannot get enough of this drama. I cannot wait to see the next eps.
I feel the same. Although, I have only just finished ep 23, starting 24 now, but I absolutely love this drama and the acting and everything about it. I am ignoring all the negative comments.
The cast list here is a bit confusing because it shows other roles on higher spots than SML, so to be clear: the…
The reason he is so low on the cast list, is cause MDL didn't even have him listed as part of the cast when the drama started, so several people had to let them know to add him. He really probably should be main cast, but we don't know how much more he will be in the story, so far he has been in it a lot.
I like a ride or die kind of guy like Xiu Ming, But why is he considered part of the supporting cast? He is clearly…
They didn't even have him up on the cast list here on MDL for the first couple of episodes, several people had to submit a notice (or whatever it is called) to let them know that he was missing in the cast list.
