Thoughts on ep. 32... first OMG, the final scenes.....
Now.. ~It is so obvious the feelings RTZ has for TT when asking about her wish, I can't understand why everyone but grandma is oblivious to it. I don't think RTZ could show anymore emotion without coming right out and saying "hey we are dating, your future lover is right in front of you"
~Love the grandpa character, him and RTZ contrived the birthday, just so he could have cake lol and all he got was an itty bitty tiny piece, thankfully his grandson and TT gave him a little more to make him feel better. He looked so sad staring at that tiny piece of cake. And his little not so try to keep quiet subtlety about RTZ and TT, he is hilarious.
~Rebecca said exactly what I was thinking about the fish pond, how come all the sudden after all these years with in 2 months, 3 cars fell into the pond, seriously how obvious is it that someone was behind this.
~Final scene: LQ how pitiful you are. I had such high expectations and hopes for this character. Why'd he have to go and play the "oh boohoo, why can't anyone help me" card. As if he would have even a slight chance at becoming the successor. He is so overthinking himself because of his circumstances. He seems to think because he is poor and his background and because he worked hard and got a degree, he deserves to have something. He could have found a job in a different city, and his friends and mentors were trying to help him out. Look what you have done now. I wasn't a huge fan of WSD but he didn't deserve what you just did.
I knew it, in the first episodes i said that i TT wasnt the real successor, but who is she ???I'm very curious
I had the same thoughts. I wonder if she is secretly Wu Shan Dao's daughter. (most likely not, but how did he or why did he pick TT of all people to say she was the successor?)
~loved the closet scene. RTZ always says the sweetest things to TT and then the lights go out.......
~What Li Quan's boss was asking him to do was illegal, right? I didn't understand the whole "tender" thing..
~Who's the guy who came to talk to TT while she was working on Wu Shan Dao? I haven't seen him before. But it seems to emphasize how great TT is, she even does really well at counseling.
~**going back a couple of episodes** I understand what Xing Xing (TT's bestie) said to Li Quan before, but I honestly believe if she really cared about him they could find a way to make things work. But then she mentioned to TT that she couldn't give him children. I don't understand why she just didn't tell him that. It doesn't make sense why these dramas always make make some person keep things secret or not let them communicate everything, so aggravating.
~I have decided my new villain in this series is now Li Quan's dad (as of right now anyway). He was a jerk at the new year when Li Quan handed his parents red envelops by taking his wife's. He always expects Li Quan to handle all their problems. Why can't he ever do things himself. His son is still trying to get on his own two feet and he is just adding pressure to him. Why can't he man up and fix his own damn problems.
Ok, just some thoughts before watching ep. 32...will comment on that episode later.
I must say even though i enjoy the drama i also can agree with some things that she said. The show has many sexist…
Yes I watched a few snippets of her review, granted I do agree with a tiny bit of what she said, I just think she went overboard a bit. Yes I think the characters are great. I am even warming up to Rebecca's character, when I didn't like her at the beginning.
I can't stand her. I never agree with anything she has to say. Even if I disagree with Marcus on some things,…
He doesn't exactly review all dramas like Avenue X, but he tells what is premiering, what has passed review, he tells what he has watched or is watching and the top 10 for online and tv for the week. He does his show every Tues. Thurs. and Sunday. He will do his final review of a show that he has finished. I like his show cause it is pretty simple and it actually encompasses a little bit of everything. Here is the link to his channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Marcushere
I saw a spoiler in Twitter that Li Quan discovered that Sun Tou Tou is actually not the descendant of the Jiang…
I have wondered if that really was the case. From the very beginning I had a feeling she might not really be who they say she is. I wonder how Shan Dao came to pick her of all people. But I hope they overlook it and she is able to continue doing TCM, because she is good at it and with people.
That auntie do the video rant about it! she ignore many drama that should be ranting BUT ranted the one that shouldn't..…
I don't like her. I have disagreed with so much she comments on. I have stopped watching her. Sometimes, I feel she just isn't watching the same dramas I am.
I can't stand her. I never agree with anything she has to say. Even if I disagree with Marcus on some things, at least he isn't as blatantly rude as she is, imo.
I was wondering the same thing. I thought it was weird Gen Z wasn't #1 as well.
have you started watching that? I thought about it, but I am currently watching Gen Z, Here We Meet Again, and Back from the Brink. I am not sure if I can handle 4 dramas at once. Also, if you have how do you like it so far? I was initially interested in it, then I watched the preview (trailer) and it wasn't I guess what I was expecting. I mean it is good she is branching out and I am liking her taking a more serious role, but I am not usually into these types of dramas.
Episode 27 was a bit underwhelming for me (the leading up and during and just a bit after in the hospital of Meng Meng's suicide) and I say this because I knew it was coming or was expecting it, my fault for watching all the spoilers. I wish I could go back and not have watched them, I think I might be a little bit emotionally more invested. **wanted to add, did any notice the hand that fell from the gurney? to me it looked like a male's hand and not Meng Meng's, so that also played a bit of "is this real" aspect to me.** As it was, I felt nothing and didn't really get that emotional tie. LYZ did great in his emotional crying scene, but I didn't get that feeling I wanted to cry with him. I felt it was kind of forced, maybe because I was expecting it and knew it was coming.
Now the bungee jump and Tou Tou running like a mad woman now that had emotion and I was feeling it.
Episode 28 is my favorite. Tou Tou brings out the best in RTZ and if his parents can't see that it sucks. I love how the writer has portrayed this relationship because there has been so much growth with RTZ on account of Tou Tou. She makes him a better person and gives him his confidence. Even his father, who has been the most cynical and critical of him, now trusts RTZ. (although, it took his own master to tell him what his own son did was correct) I loved seeing RTZ and Tou Tou work together in the village and helping those people, it was one of my favorite parts.
RTZ sitting outside the toilet, while TT is inside: "Have you figured it out?" ~RTZ "About what?" ~TT "Be Mine" ~RTZ "What do you mean?" ~TT "No one has ever professed his love to you before?" ~RTZ "Profess your love? I really haven't seen someone profess their love while defecating" ~TT "Well, think about then."~RTZ
"The two of them are professing their love in the toilet." ~ Dr.'s wife "Dating in the toilet?" ~ Dr.
LOL, Absolutely favorite scene for any drama I have ever watched. I was so giddy watching this scene. You can't get any better than that.
"Dating in the toilet?"- this part cracked me up TT
lol that was my favorite part, as well as when she told him they had to set rules before starting to date, for major issues she made the decisions and for minor ones he did.
LOL, the tiles were the best part of ep. 26. "If I knew she was going to find them, I would've told her to bring them all back for us to reassemble them ourselves. Our medical center would be considered an intangible cultural heritage, too." That made me laugh, especially knowing he made that poor woman spend over a year looking for these tiles for a "so-called" old non-existent prescription.
Although, I am a bit confused that she still kept searching for the tiles. I thought she understood the reason he had her look for them in the first place, after her little speech in ep. 25. It seems she understood the true meaning behind the "search" in the first place. So now I am confused.
Episode 25:~I loved the whole first half, the speeches and so much insight to TCM vs Western Medicine. I really…
LOL ok I guess after reading a lot of the comments, I am one of the very few who liked the first 30 mins of episode 25. I mean some of the stories were meh, but overall I liked the whole speech.
So let me get this straight MM is only 18 years old (i really thought she was in her twenties) and has a trauma…
YES!!!! my thoughts exactly. They should have never allowed her to move and definitely allowed him to be the one to treat her. I think this is the biggest mistake in the whole drama. This plot is so very disappointing to me.
