let me sort my thoughts because currently I'm on EP13 and I've seen some spoilers on tiktok already. if Toutou's…
They are not really biologically related. It is hard to explain a lot of Chinese culture and how they view relationships. I don't even know where to begin to explain it, cause lol I don't remember how they explained it, it was either toward the end of ep. 1 or somewhere in ep. 2. It just happens that Tou Tou is the only living descendant of certain acupuncture sect, where a lot of what RXZ's family got their knowledge from. Their ancestors studied and learned together, which made them "family". I am sure someone else could explain it better, but that is how I gathered.

As far as the affection part, we have seen very tiny miniscule moments but nothing to show that they actual have any serious affection toward each other yet, except from lots of previews people have been posting.

I think this drama was aired a few days before the comedian’s incident… i can confirm that because i was waiting…
I just can't believe all the halt to dramas, basically entertainment in general came down to one comedian's ill time joke. It is crazy how messed up that is.

Episode 25:

~I loved the whole first half, the speeches and so much insight to TCM vs Western Medicine. I really enjoyed listening to it all, best part of the episode.

~Now, I am a bit aggravated again about the whole Meng Meng situation. I can't get over the fact that she is suppose to be a patient, but yet they seemed like it was some huge loss when her parents came and got her. She should have never been staying with them in the first place. I am so aggravated about this whole scenario and plot of the story. If I was in the medical field, I would be screaming right now, about the whole unprofessionalism that that plot was from the beginning.

~I feel sorry for Li Quan. He is under so much pressure from his parents to be great and earn a lot of money. He now puts pressure on himself to fulfill that role that he is working at a massage place. I really want to see better for him in this drama. I like his character.

Now to continue with ep. 26

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZM2Fc7JqF/?t=1MM died...omg...I'm speechless...I didn't like MM character but... I didn't…
I think a lot of people actually thought it would be either her that died or RTZ's grandpa. So for myself it wasn't much of a surprise.

Oh : the product placement festival! Well, TV series often live up to their nickname of "soap operas", don't they,…
I had to laugh the other day when I was watching "Here We Meet Again". They went to a hotel and she saw a toothbrush that sanitized itself, etc. She asked the hotel clerk about and he described how it worked and everything. It was so very obvious. It is one thing when the PP is just sitting there or in the shot, but to make it so blaringly obvious and for every episode, almost like they do the face masks, for almost every drama, lol.

Also, I think I know which drama you are talking about with Liu Te. I think I recall all of those product placements, so many. Sometimes the PP is good and ok and I don't even think about it, but when it happens so blaringly obvious it becomes a bit annoying. It makes me not even interested in the product.

Nice episode today, a lot of TCM informative information.

I had a feeling the woman with the asthma/bronchitis/lung problem was going to help them out with their TCM apprentice class. She just happened to be introduced in the story right at that point.

Loved seeing the older woman now cancer free, she has balanced her karma and she even got her children healthier as well.

I always like seeing the banter between LL and RXZ, but I wish he would be a bit nicer to her sometimes, he always seems to give her a hard time, how could he tell her she isn't pretty.

So curious about who is contacting Meng Meng, wondering if it has to do with the person who got her pregnant. She seems really stressed about it and I am so surprised she didn't say anything to RTZ about it.

I can't believe they invited that Mr. Liu to their opening of the new apprentice place. I thought he would be the last person they would want there. I do love seeing how his son keeps popping up, and RTZ was practically glued to him while he was on the ladder, yet Tou Tou was on the ladder by herself (wonder if RTZ was trying to keep Liu jr. occupied and away from Tou Tou, I could be just reading to much into it).

Also, curious to see what Li Quan is up to, that he didn't help them with the clean up or show up to the opening of the apprentice building.

Finally, one thing that really bothers me about modern Chinese Dramas is there blatant throw it in your face product placement. For one, some of the stuff looks really good, but we can't get it here in the states, so I am jealous. And two, they show it excessively. It is one thing for it to be just on the side or in the frame, but for them to keep saying "Oh here is your favorite yogurt" or "have this yogurt its good for you" etc. Or the shrimp one today, "these dumplings have shrimp in them, you will get full from eating them" .

I hate this scene so much like grandma was overboard and her entitled attitude omg. ok mom got to worked her emotional…
I was aggravated they were saying the mom had a bad attitude, but the grandma wasn't much better. She was yelling and making a ruckus just as much as the mom. She didn't have a very good mental state either.

Ep. 23 had a few highlights for me. - I was very glad to see TT working hard and apply herself to learning theoretical…
From a mother's prospective. I wouldn't want my son marrying Meng Meng either. This is just from my viewpoint.

Her son was treating Meng Meng as a patient, with mental health issues. If you look at most mental health (depending on the diagnosis) they are most commonly inherited, which means she could potentially pass on her problems to their children. I think there is way more underlying issues with Meng Meng than we are shown, because I can't believe she broke down that much to almost a child like state just from an ectopic pregnancy. Honestly, her family, imo, is not the greatest, just because they have money, they are not really involved with helping Meng Meng's state of mind. They don't put her first. They have basically pawned her off on the Zheng family. I think RTZ's mother is looking at it from a clinical standpoint, and seeing that a romantic relationship or marriage would be very unhealthy.

We didn't see the cutesy scene. :( Anyway, pretty slow episode. I really like the new space they will be moving in. I think it is going to be better than the other space they had.

Romance of Tiger and Rose was okay. One of the few dramas of hers I haven't rewatched. Its good and I love watching Ryan Ding, but not really one of my favorites. I also wasn't a huge fan of her modern drama, Please Feel At Ease Mr. Ling. I didn't like the male lead in it. Also, Cinderella Chef, she plays a support role in this. I don't remember to much about it, but I know I have watched it. I guess it wasn't really that memorable.

A few notable mentions, I didn't mention above but are still good as well:

~Love Better Than Immortality, I liked this one, but it isn't one of my favorites.
~Who Rules the World, I can't believe I forgot to mention this one above. It was really good, I loved her action scenes. Although, her chemistry with Yang Yang in this felt more sibling than lovers, but that is just my opinion. And the choreography was pretty amazing, albeit a few scenes at the end were a bit bad, but overall a good drama. Also, I absolutely love Leon Lai, so anything he is in, is an absolute must for me.
~I Hear You, I really liked this one too, I think this is a bit underrated drama, honestly, but her acting with Riley Wang was cutesy. And he has those oh so cute dimples you can't help but to like him.
~A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College, I loved her acting in this, this was definitely a Zhao LuSi drama. Although, not the best drama itself, but she really made this drama. If it wasn't for her, this drama definitely wouldn't be any good. I like Xu Kaicheng, but I didn't really like him in this role.

Lol, now I think I have mentioned all her dramas, haha. I really like watching her though, probably one of the few actresses, besides Bai Lu and Li Qin, that I try to watch all their dramas, because they are exceptional actresses.

You can watch Untouchable Lovers. I honestly wouldn't recommend it overall. The first 16 episodes are the worst, but I guess you kind of have to watch it all to get the full effect. After the first 16 is where the real story begins in my opinion. Zhao Lu SI only appears from EP 17 to 37. I did not like the main FL. I thought her acting was subpar. It truly is disheartening that this drama was so lacking when it has a huge cast, most of them were supporting actors at the time.

It has: Xu Kai, Bai Lu, Zhao Lu Si, Song Wei Long, Merxat (one of my favorite underrated actors), to name a few.

Omgoodness you need to watch more of her stuff. She is so amazing.

Autumn Fairy Tale (movie with Xu Kai)~ it was pretty good. *spoiler* sad ending
Love Like the Galaxy ~ one of my favorites, I have watched it so many times
The Long Ballad ~ it was okay, not really my favorite, but I liked all the actors in it
Oh! My Emperor 1 & 2 ~ I really like this one. Her and Jason Gu have really nice chemistry and Xiao Zhan is in it as well.
Untouchable Lovers~ One of her first dramas, supporting character, but she actually plays an antagonist in this, which is way different than what we know her. ( I will warn you, this drama is horrid, the second part of the drama is way better than the first part, it is honestly like 2 dramas in one actually)
Dating in the Kitchen~ my absolute favorite modern drama of hers, her chemistry with Lin Yu Shen was surprisingly amazing.
The Romance of Tiger and Rose~ a huge fan favorite and must watch.

...I could go on, almost all her works are so good. The only dramas of her I haven't seen is:
Love Better Than Immortality ( I have watched 2 episodes, for some reason I just can't get past the first couple of episodes)
Hu Tong~ honestly not really interested in this story
Prodigy Healer~ I plan to watch just haven't got around to it.

She really does great work. I love watching her dramas.

Zhao Lu Si really impressed me during that crying scene. My heart broke for TT.
Her range of acting is so great. She is definitely one of the best actresses in Chinese Drama land. She becomes the part she plays and I love it. She also gets better with each project she does.

I didn’t blame her at all… in between life and death situation we’ll always want to blame someone. he’s…
I didn't blame her, necessarily. I am a mother myself and would most likely of reacted the same way. What bothers me, is her insinuation of her son never doing anything wrong and that she immediately went to blame Tou Tou without even listening to her explanation. It was very disheartening. She has been pretty critical of Tou Tou this whole series so far and backing her son, even though Tou Tou has taken the blame for him and has done nothing but praised RTZ's mother, and yelling at RTZ and her master for treating the mother badly.
