You can watch Untouchable Lovers. I honestly wouldn't recommend it overall. The first 16 episodes are the worst, but I guess you kind of have to watch it all to get the full effect. After the first 16 is where the real story begins in my opinion. Zhao Lu SI only appears from EP 17 to 37. I did not like the main FL. I thought her acting was subpar. It truly is disheartening that this drama was so lacking when it has a huge cast, most of them were supporting actors at the time.
It has: Xu Kai, Bai Lu, Zhao Lu Si, Song Wei Long, Merxat (one of my favorite underrated actors), to name a few.

Omgoodness you need to watch more of her stuff. She is so amazing.
Autumn Fairy Tale (movie with Xu Kai)~ it was pretty good. *spoiler* sad ending Love Like the Galaxy ~ one of my favorites, I have watched it so many times The Long Ballad ~ it was okay, not really my favorite, but I liked all the actors in it Oh! My Emperor 1 & 2 ~ I really like this one. Her and Jason Gu have really nice chemistry and Xiao Zhan is in it as well. Untouchable Lovers~ One of her first dramas, supporting character, but she actually plays an antagonist in this, which is way different than what we know her. ( I will warn you, this drama is horrid, the second part of the drama is way better than the first part, it is honestly like 2 dramas in one actually) Dating in the Kitchen~ my absolute favorite modern drama of hers, her chemistry with Lin Yu Shen was surprisingly amazing. The Romance of Tiger and Rose~ a huge fan favorite and must watch.
...I could go on, almost all her works are so good. The only dramas of her I haven't seen is: Love Better Than Immortality ( I have watched 2 episodes, for some reason I just can't get past the first couple of episodes) Hu Tong~ honestly not really interested in this story Prodigy Healer~ I plan to watch just haven't got around to it.
She really does great work. I love watching her dramas.
Zhao Lu Si really impressed me during that crying scene. My heart broke for TT.
Her range of acting is so great. She is definitely one of the best actresses in Chinese Drama land. She becomes the part she plays and I love it. She also gets better with each project she does.
I didn’t blame her at all… in between life and death situation we’ll always want to blame someone. he’s…
I didn't blame her, necessarily. I am a mother myself and would most likely of reacted the same way. What bothers me, is her insinuation of her son never doing anything wrong and that she immediately went to blame Tou Tou without even listening to her explanation. It was very disheartening. She has been pretty critical of Tou Tou this whole series so far and backing her son, even though Tou Tou has taken the blame for him and has done nothing but praised RTZ's mother, and yelling at RTZ and her master for treating the mother badly.
As I understood things, the Ren couple has a house and the grandparents have a different one. It's just that the…
I am hoping with them getting the ginseng back or even with this new patient he has (was shown at end of episode 22), maybe one of these things will lead to a solution that they won't have to sell the house(s).
I am wondering about some of these added side stories in this series. Is there a point for us to know about her ex husband getting remarried and their child going to the wedding, and also, her not wanting her ex and his mother to pick up her son anymore?
I understand why RXZ wanted to sell the house, but why did they say they wouldn't have a place to live if Ling Lan had a house too? I am so confused about that. RXZ was going to sell her parents' house, but then Ling Lan said just sell my house. I get the understanding of needing the money for the apprenticeship class, I don't get why they just didn't offer to sell her house to begin with and does no one live there now? So confused about that.
And, LOL... "Meng Meng, what are you doing?" "I am washing Tou Tou" LOL, and Tou Tou just stands there with her arms out....
First 15 mins of episode 21...... I have so many thoughts and am so mad and aggravated, I can't even right now. I thought I didn't like RTZ, but his mother right now is beyond anything (although, as a mother myself I can understand why she feels this way). It is just I feel his mother has never even really given Tou Tou a chance. Ok back to more watching..
Mr.Lui is the worst character in this series....hope he gets his karma soon
The person who plays Mr. Liu in this series Gen Z, plays a character called Dr. Gu in the drama currently airing called Here We Meet Again, starring Janice Wu and Vin Zhang
Mr.Lui is the worst character in this series....hope he gets his karma soon
I am watching Here We Meet Again and he is playing a doctor in that series. It is funny seeing him in two different roles at the same time.
But I agree, I haven't liked the Mr. Lui character from the beginning. They should have known he was shady at the beginning, no one just gives you a facility to use for free and then when RXZ wanted nothing to do with the commercialization of TCM, Mr. Lui backed out of letting him use the facility, definitely he isn't really thinking of the best interest of TCM and the apprentice classes.
Today's episodes were a bit slower paced. I actually FF'd through a few scenes (the blind date scene and the baby item buying scenes), cause they weren't really related to the story that I am more interested in and for me were a bit boring.
What I did enjoy: ~The grandparents inclusion of Tou Tou in their New Year and giving her a red envelope. It was nice to see her interaction with the family and how they are accepting her. ~Tou Tou's and her bestie's (Xing Xing) conversation. Very sweet about them living together when they are old. ~Tou Tou's amazing confrontation with the patients in the TCM practice, putting all those patients in their place. Loved this scene. ~The scenery and their trip up the mountain to find the ginseng. ~Tou Tou backing her master and adamantly saying how she did not want to dig up the ginseng, cause it wasn't right. (even though she was excited initially at the amount the ginseng could get) You definitely see her growth here and her understanding of nature. It was really thoughtful (even though we know it doesn't last, as it looks like they will go and dig it up anyway)
my ep 17 and 18 views.So... You're telling me the idol trainee guy might never return??😭😭 I want him back…
I really enjoyed her call with RXZ, "Master, I've learned it. I've learned the lesson of life." I was a bit critical of her character before, but she absolutely shined in this episode.
