the synopsis seems like it gives a lot away, but it’s only episodes 1-12 ish which isn’t that much with 50 episodes. the acting and storyline could use some help, but it still drew me in. this was one of the first dramas i watched back in the day with cha seung won, seo kang joon, lee yun hee, gong myung, etc, and this made me like them all as actors. overall i liked this drama. also imo, you don’t need to know the history of joseon before watching this drama. you can watch it on it’s own and understand it fine.
