I read the comments here in MDL that there's one Ashile general who works under Tang later. And Sher is supposed to be that character. Don't know the details though :/

While they became chessmates and discussed war strategies, Li Jing wanted Sun to work in his army since he got to know his caliber from playing. Sun refused respectfully and came to say goodbye. But Li Jing wouldn't let him go if he didn't want to work under him. He was like "If such a great warrior doesn't work for Tang, there's no need for him to exist at all elsewhere." Sun somehow fought back and ran away from that place and hid himself. Li Jing even had city gates closed so that he couldn't escape!

Wu Lei I don't know in a way has an incredible chemistry with her that is eye-catching. And more importantly they have chemistry not only in drama but also in real life. So wholesome.

In the manhua he wasn't so great. He wanted to keep Sun by using force. I'm glad the drama portrayed him as such a great character, like a kindred spirit to Sun. He also adores Changge <3
