Anyone cmiiw but i think it's because weiwei already knew thst it was chi who was actually taking care of his mom that's why he was always away. As for the words they said to each other and Chi's "Did u miss me?" weiwei replied that 真话烫嘴 meaning the truth burns the mouth, is that some people refuse to say what they really mean. Chi said that when they had that big fight that they were apart of 10 days, he also said the same thst he did not miss him. They knew that what they said wasnt what their heart means, letting those out in a fit of rage.

Then when chi was going to hold weiwei accountable for the yueyue incident, the latter said that he hasnt even confronted him yet with him hiding his mom's issue that pretty much lead to all those misunderstandings. Hence Chi proposed that theyre now even and let bygones be bygones. They promised each other that when problems arised, theyre going to say it out loud and talk it out.

These two episodes were such a blessing! When i read the novel i just knew this arc was going to be my favorite. Phenomenal acting, especially from Zi Yu🥹 I have to praise our director too for giving us such gut wrenching scenes and for our author for the minor changes (chi's and wu ma last convo) that gave me a cry too. I was bawling my eyes out so bad, reminiscing the days me and my family had to take of our sick grandma. She had pancreatic cancer too and was in so much pain, she kept the fact that the doctor already gave her 3 months to live. Ahh.. watching these episodes made me relive those moments, i get teary eyed too quickly.. That's why i could never blame Wu Ma's decision to hide her sickness😞

All the pain guys and building it up to this moment felt so freeing not gonna lie, angst was worth it. I dont even remember in the novel it was mentioned Chi cried, but for sure Tian couldnt stop himself from shedding a tear😭 Watching new episodes feels so bittersweet, knowing this is coming to an end but im also really really grateful🙏🏻🥹

Them cutting scenes, such as people assuming there shouldve more into the "NC" scenes plus the leak photos from the Meng Tao arc that they skipped over, also deliberately giving Wang Shuo more screen time because his company allegedly paid them💀

Uhm i guess chi's sister is going to put him to jail to force wusuowei to prove his love for chi as the family was against them. Wei basically sold their house and used up his savings to bail him out. That was also the first time chi cried so hard when he knew it and well he bought it back.

They lived happily ever after🙂‍↕️ no breakups after this but definitely hardships

It's really funny how Wu Suowei fell for Chi Cheng's gentle and attentive side but somehow it ended up being weaponized (by Wang Shuo ofc who fed the narrative). It became a source of insecurity for him soon after comparing how fierce Chi was with his ex before. He thought the kind of love and treatment Chi have to Shuo was the absolute one, not realizing Chi handled him with care because he knows he deserves it. He thought that loud love like fights, jealousy is realer than Chi's patient love. But Chi’s transformation into someone who handles love with tenderness, boundaries, and quiet devotion shows his growth. It's really tragic for Wu Suowei to mistake gentleness for indifference, not realizing that it takes far more emotional maturity and restraint to be soft with someone in a world that taught Chi to be hardened.

TXN didnt really refuse it because he doesnt want to, its just thst their schedules never matched lols thank god for all the delays that happened and stuffs that allowed us to have TXN as Chi, he is perfect for this role🙏🏻

He keeps on calling Guo's name because he often wastes himself at his bestfriend's house as he and Shuo used to fight a lot. Guo probably used to taking care of his mess of a friend, now becomes the subject of Chi's drunk nonsense talks.

Legit like why are people forgetting that these characters mirror real life people who are always going to be flawed, doesnt make perfect choices and is bound to fuck up one day. Theyll grow out of it and thats the lesson were going to learn, and the character development we want

Him being gentle really made sense to me. I think he understands, that Shuo's behavior was partly because of him and he really would've forgiven him if only Shuo never left. He's that magnanimous it honestly hurts to think he gives so much of himself when he loves someone🥲🥲🥲 But I guess he just cant bother to be cruel to Shuo anymore, because there's someone that mattered more and that's Wu Suowei. Like he said, the scars dont hurt anymore—but just a reminder that Shuo thought was something more.

He loved him dearly for 3 years, and held onto him for another 6 years even in his absence. Chi is really kind for doing it, providing closure in a gentle manner when in fact Shuo denied him that for years. Wishing him well shows that Shuo mattered to him, because that was the version of him he once loved—just not anymore.
